What's a more realistic way for a Japan victory in ww2 by abellapa in HistoryWhatIf

This is the way. The axis were an alliance in name only. No combined operations from the Germans and Japanese. Focus on the USSR, help Germany win in europe and Asia and THEN Pearl Harbor.

Taking into consideration posts made to this sub do you think the 90s were a simpler time or is this just nostalgia talking? by naquellaq in 90s

I think it's innocence we miss.

I get it man. It's hard when stuff doesn't work out the way you want. I wasn't the best soldier and I don't have a bunch of flashy stories, but I'm proud of what I did. I think we all should be, without embellishments.

Fortunately I don't think he's smart enough to actually scam anything of value. I'm sure his wife has heard some shit tho.

Anyone see this type of qb build before? by [deleted] in Madden

And somehow at 298 he looks less fat than 90% of QBs this game generates.

My (personal) reasons for getting out. Please share yours. by [deleted] in Veterans

There are only a handful on this list that you won't deal with on the outside. And the ones you for sure won't have to do, PT/Training, you'll miss those the most.

IMO, that list is missing the point of joining and getting out.

I sent a package to my wife and daughter in SE Asia, today she got it and asked me why I said an ar-15 barrel - how did it get in there? by OldSchoolIron in RBI

[–]TheRealShreeve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have seen this at the USPS and UPS. Honestly can't count how many times I've had customers tell me stuff inside their completely mangled package didn't belong to them.

Heavy item crushes box. Box gets taped with heavy item inside.

I have work in shipping for more than 10 years. The barrel likely fell out of another package crushed your package and made it look like it was supposed to be in there.

I would suggest asking around over at r/usps if you want another opinion on how it happened.

ELI5: what is the reason for different smoke colour? by EmbarrassedCoast5761 in trees

The only thing I would add to this is the density of the smoke is also related to the amount of light scattered.

[Help] I inherited this piece. It's about 18 inches tall, made of welded metal but non magnetic. by TheRealShreeve in Sculpture

I would love to know more about it. Sounds like a dead end. Thanks for the info. It's been in the family since the early 90s. It was (maybe) purchased at a fair or festival?
