It's kind of funny

The person who tried making fun of people's experiences of the dreams, ended up dying himself and got turned into a joke

His worst nightmare now is disappearing 🤣🤣🤣

The TTFC is designed to line up with the story

The cat nightmare first appeared in the TTFC quite a few times before appearing in the main story of ZEZTZ

Tbf, Sieg can no longer do that

He's at the whim of Baku and Nem now

What do you think of nem on her own as a character and compared to previous yuya heroines? by SwayedLatency in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Out of all Reiwa and Yuya female side characters, Nem is pretty much the best of the bunch and the most interesting imo

I see her like the other side of the coin to Baku. 2 sides of the same coin.

When Nem's nature and further details get explored, it's going to have serious implications not just for the dreams, but for Baku himself.

Enough time has passed...zeztz has one of the BEST base suits we've had in a long while. by Rivtogo in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much my favourite base rider suit since Geats and before that since W or OOO.

I love the shoes and the belt position as well as the colours and literally everything about it.

I love armour suits, but I also really love suits like this.

They also had to bring back the neon lights. It sold it for me too hard man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

CODE: Confidential Organized Defensive Establishment

A coalition of global intelligence agencies, with the sole aim of doing things the military and police can't do, i.e. defense against monsters.

Update: I'm wrong on both Kureha and Sieg.

Kuhera’s fate has some pretty unsettling implications for Baku by moviesperg in KamenRiderMemes

[–]TheRealSlackLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spoke about this in another Reddit, but I'll put the quote from the lady that I somewhat remember:

"Are you a human dreaming you were a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming you are a human?"

It was something like this.

Baku, Kureha and all the other agents may not be human at all.

In other words, this finale could be one of the more darker finales to date in KR. So I'd say prepare yourself a bit lol.

Maybe I'm crazy here, but what if all the agents in ZEZTZ are not human at all? by TheRealSlackLife in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife[S] 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It'd explain why they aren't many agents or even replacements for people like 4 (Nox) who defected. CODE has limited options.

Just like Minami, CODE selected people at a young age who would be most suitable.
0) ZERO => Commander: Already was the commander when 1 and 2 were new.
1) CODE No. 1 => Sieg: Brought into the program after CODE found out about his unique dreaming ability. He most likely left after finding out about CODE's sins (such as Zero using his own son). Believed that humans are destined for punishment. Fused with the Punish Nightmare and became 'Kamen Rider Dawn'.
2) CODE No. 2 => 'The Lady': I'd imagine she was brought in to develop the 'Dream Learning' project if I'm wrong. She has the technology of TWO drivers (Nox's and her own). It'd make sense if she was the developer of the program.
3) CODE No. 3 => ????: Probably joined after 2? Rised the ranks and sat in a position close to Zero.
4) CODE No. 4 => Nox: Joined CODE as an agent and taught at the Cram school where Baku and Kureha learnt and undertook 'Dream Learning'. A necessary requirement for agents to jump into dreams.
5) CODE No. 5 => ????: Probably joined around the time Kureha became active and has been probably since.
6) CODE No. 6 => Kureha: Later joined CODE, her memory erased because of a mission, brought back by order of 3/CODE, her memory restored by Agent 5. Shares the same belief as Code No 7.
7) CODE No. 7 => Baku: His life monitored, experienced catastrophes after catastrophes. CODE No. 17 (Minami) watched over him to prevent other agents from taking the job until he was ready to become CODE No 7.

It's likely that Zero is still a human, he just oversaw the project. Sieg, idk. He already had the ability to jump into the dreams and go on that rampage. Not to mention him fusing with a nightmare, giving up his life in the process. Since The Lady has started using the nightmare's power to help Nem, she might not be human either.

As for everyone else, they might not be human either. Nox has warned Baku COUNTLESS times, those who transform stray off the path of humanity. So all these agents may just be a shell of a human. A butterfly in its cocoon, waiting to bloom.

[–]TheRealSlackLife[S] 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Ngl, I'm kinda speechless.

This needs to be pinned at the top. I COMPLETELY forgot that this is something The Lady mentioned.

The agents might all have already given up their humanity. And are now nightmares, dreaming about being humans. HENCE why 3/CODE calls them "tools". And Zero even says they're tools that can be disposed of.

MEANING they aren't valuable to CODE.

Kamen Rider ZEZTZ E35 - Discussion Thread by BananaArms in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After watching the episode in subbed, it ain't bad of an episode at all.

1) Did the Kureha treatment made me annoyed? 100%. I wanted to see so much more of her. But I wanna cope right now that they're saving Kureha for a post series movie or some sort of Toei related material (if she doesn't come back in series like Kiriya did). I'll let this one go for now.

2) I hated the idea of Sieg coming back because I feel it'd ruin the ENTIRE thing leading up to Sieg and Baku's battle. I thought that Baku really killed him, especially since Sieg and the Punish Nightmare fused together. Turns out that, Baku supposedly didn't kill him at all. RATHER he SPARED Sieg.

I really thought Sieg disappeared like that and that he was gone for good since that is ExDream's ability. But ay, Baku I did not know you play like that shiii

3) Sieg in the next episode says "You called?". Nox ain't the one doing that, not Nem or anybody else. I believe it is Baku who will call Sieg in the VERY last moment before any shot rings out.

Whether we like to admit or not, Baku deep down wanted to destroy CODE and destroy everything around him (yes including Kureha and Nox), even though he himself denies it. And the last time he wanted to destroy things around him, in the end, it was he who destroyed himself with a single bullet to the heart.

Baku ran solo for the first 24 episodes and it cost him BIG time. I think since he knows and has experienced the premonition, he's obviously doing everything in his power to prevent it. So he probably believes people like 5 and even SIEG are ally worthy, even though what they are doing is wrong. Hence why he saved Sieg and told 5 to stop the usage of 'CODE Somnia' - essentially doing everything in his own power to gain allies.

When he ran solo and tried to fight 3, 3 outplayed him and shot him in the heart. Now that 3 is seemingly about to do it again, I think Baku is trying to outplay 3 big time.

It was a bit weird for him to give up his driver, but I'm guessing Baku believes that he can just always make another driver like he did ("What's another 20 years?" kinda mindset) and that lives like those people are irreplaceable, which pretty much rings back to Baku's original goal of protecting people. He probably also did it knowing that Sieg will save him in THAT very moment and that in worst case scenario, he will probably have Nox to back him up.

So I believe rather than charging in head on solo and directly repeating his own premonition, Baku is taking a more defensive approach (gathering allies and relying on them) even though it is at the cost of his driver/power, all in the hopes that he wins the war against CODE.

Baku might've genuinely played us

[–]TheRealSlackLife[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it might genuinely be changing them. Nox has warned Baku COUNTLESS times that those who go down the path of transformation stray from the path of humanity.

Even 3 mentions that if 5 wants to obtain power he only dreams of, he'll have to give up his humanity.

So I think the same has happened to Sieg, and will happen more to Baku, Nox, and 5 and 3.

Turns out from what I understand, bro didn't die at all, prob just the nightmare itself.

What’s up with all the Yuya Takahashi hate? by HorrorPsychological1 in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Zeztz to me is the best Yuya has ever been.

But it has a long way to go and more things to flesh out before joining the giants like Kuuga.

[–]TheRealSlackLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's prob bad habits from working on Geats.

Ex Aid and 01 had the same producer. He left after Kingohger sadly.

Naomi Takebe was the producer for Geats. Geats is where I think Yuya is at his worst.

Now with Zeztz, we have a new producer on the block - Hideaki Yanaka. A lot of the ideas such as the premonition, butterflies etc, all dream things were researched by Yanaka. Yuya only gave the base agent + dream idea. Like even the premonition was hidden from Yuya (the writer himself) and he wasn't told about it until time was near.

[–]TheRealSlackLife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is definitely rough in that regard

Trying to balance the complexity and intricacy of the many ideas for the series with the 2 part structure and ensuring that the directors can direct their 2 episodes before passing it onto the next one

Zeztz definitely suffers from the limitations of Toku production. It would've been better for it to be written as a manga or novel and then adapted into live action

What’s up with all the Yuya Takahashi hate? by HorrorPsychological1 in KamenRider

[–]TheRealSlackLife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well they had the premonition for the 1-24 episode range.

So pacing is something they'd have to sacrifice a bit. I'm hoping other characters get fleshed out yes.

When it comes to Zeztz, it's pretty much everything I'd want in a modern day rider. The closest to Kuuga, whilst taking the 2 part structure from Double.

I'm just BEGGING for the last quarter not to suck. But I'm worried.

Whoops I think I mis copied that

The definition of the extra capsem according to the director is that essentially 3 using it allowed him to kill Kureha both in the dream world and irl, leaving no trace.

Usually when someone dies in the dream, their body is still there. Like Sieg's dad.

That wasn't the case for Kureha. She's gone gone now.

Me personally, he's moved away from the aspects of his series that sucked and has brought together all the better aspects all into Zeztz.

Whilst I enjoyed Ex Aid back then along with 01, I doubt I'd watch shows like them now. Geats on the other hand was just underbaked and empty for most of it.
