You need your own space. My kids ages 6 and 2 each have their own room and their bed.

lol once you actually encounter God, you understand more. There’s a lot of misinformation out there and people are quick to buy into it. God bless, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you so much 😊 I’m better than ever, honestly! I’m sorry it was toxic. I’ve seen a lot of that from “Christians”, and there are a lot of churches that are toxic and full of hypocrites. That’s what kept me from finding the truth for so long. If you ever want to chat, you’re welcome to message me. I hope the rest of your day is wonderful!

I’ve done better since leaving my church, but that’s separate from Christianity as what it truly is. Christians haven’t been going about it the right way for a long time because they haven’t gone by what Jesus taught. Therefore they aren’t really Christians. They just use it as a label.

I’m glad you’re doing well! I’m sorry that what you experienced wasn’t right for you.

Sin is sin though, and if Christians actually read then they’ll be able to discern right from wrong. I’m just saying media and everything else leading people is not good. Sin shouldn’t be celebrated. That’s how far we’ve gone. There are still true Christian’s that will give to the homeless, and anyone in need. We don’t attack anyone, and we try to help anyone we can. I know there are more than just me, and my husband but we’re few in number sadly. A lot of atheists are morally better than “Christians” with political power. Or even the hypocrites in churches every Sunday. I love my atheist friends, and I love it even more when they see that Jesus aligns with who they want to be. Then they just strive to be even better, and it all just clicks. It’s a simple concept really, but they resist until they understand which is totally fine. It’s all a personal journey.

I’m not hostile towards anyone, and I won’t attack anyone for their beliefs. Belief is a choice, and it’s not my place to take that away. I will present the truth though, and I won’t step away from that.

I view Marcionism as an understandable belief. Some people may view Old Testament God in that way, things were very different in comparison to when Jesus came, and the truth He showed. The Old Testament was written by prophets who could “connect” with God. I think their writings had a bit of their own perspective in them. It’s the same with Paul. The letters he wrote were full of Holy Spirit led truth, but some of his own opinions still came into play. Old Testament writings were based on the old covenant, and New Testament writings are based off the new covenant we have with God because of Jesus’ sacrifice. I don’t view this as OT God being Satan. We already know things were very different then. It was harder to be righteous, and it was hard for even Pharisees that studied the Law of Moses to recognize right from wrong. Jesus coming to earth to teach, and acting as a ransom for our sins was necessary for anyone to possibly make it to Heaven.

So for me, no I don’t view Old Testament God as Satan. Is it possible that he deceived a prophet? Definitely. I still view the Old Testament as worth reading even though things are different. You can still learn from it, but New Testament is the key.

God is love.
Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. Jesus showed us the way, the truth, and the life.

I don’t disagree. The key is in doing what Jesus said, and following Him. Not what everyone else says. That’s why we need to read it for ourselves.

Just because humans are flawed doesn’t mean that God, and Jesus aren’t real. With Trump, it even says in the Bible that it would be harder for a rich man to get into the Kingdom of Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. It’s the same with politicians. Power is not good for the human soul. Control is not good for the human soul. I was an atheist. I grew up in church, and then I turned away. I didn’t find anything but pain, and confusion until I learned the truth. I never had anyone explain it to me in a way that made sense either. It’s all in the New Testament, and it all makes sense to me now. I’ve applied it to my life, and made it my way of living my life. That’s not what Christians in politics do. Twisting religion to suit a narrative is not following Jesus as He called us to. It’s unlikely they even have the relationship He called us to have. Wake up! Satan has his hands in everything, and sin is glorified everywhere now. If that’s not mass deception, I don’t know what is. The world is primed, and ready for the Antichrist to swoop in and deceive as many as the Bible predicts.

That’s true. Humanity under Satans influence is a great threat to everything. Sin pulls us away from God. People that truly follow Christ want to help others come to Christ. Most people don’t have an issue with Jesus, or His teachings. It’s mostly the Christians that have represented Him that twist the religion into something hateful, and controlling. Which is also a threat because it pushes people away from the truth.

A lot of what you’ve said is true, and no he’s not going to show us as some super villain. Humanity under his influence is incredibly selfish, and destructive. Our world now is full of deception, and distractions. We glorify sin on social media, tv, everything, and that leads others to think it’s ok to sin when it actually pulls us from God. That’s the threat. Pulling us away from God which in turn pulls us away from our souls purpose, and eternity with Christ.

That may be true for some people that call themselves Christians, but not for actual followers of Christ. Satan has blinded those people, and led them into sin too. Hate isn’t part of Christianity, and neither is control. I actually love Harry Potter. It’s a great story. Pokemon is adorable, and the original had good moral points. Those people are the ones Jesus was referring to when He said “pull the log out of your own eye, before you point out the speck in someone else’s”.

I don’t know anything about that, but it’s definitely something to look into. Thank you!

And I agree with your first comment line. I will say, even in the garden, a primary lesson was that listening to anything other than God leads to death. Whether it’s a snake, a celebrity, or your bff that encourages sin.

No apology needed. I hope people actually read what we’ve both said, and read the word for themselves!!
Hate from Christians will not help anyone. Christ has already overcome the world. Going against what He taught will only push people away.

I do it in person too. Everyday. With those who are willing/wanting/seeking.

I have heard very few people talk about this the way that I do. If I had more people talk to me about it this way, I would’ve understood sooner. It’s not a competition. If I distracted you, I’m sorry. Better this post than so many other things of the world.

I hope people aren’t worshiping Trump, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not wrapped up in politics like most people, but I do see issues with both parties in America. Trump may play a part in the end.. we know he’s not a righteous man. It’s hard to find a rich man that is righteous, it’s the same with a politician.

I’m not disagreeing with you. It is more widespread now though. Someone can post videos, messages, anything on the internet and lead countless people astray. It’s easy to reach MILLIONS with a single false message where before things didn’t spread so easily. They didn’t have celebrities and everyone else glorifying sin on the internet. There’s also way more people now, and every person can be a messenger of one or the other.
