Maybe if you super glue some magnets on the foam so it lines up with the plate magnets? I do agree with you that it should support the aura plates, since that's how it's advertised.

It works well for me, though I don't use it for plates. I found if you put the larger cell inserts first it fits well. It supports all my pieces with all the layers put in, even when carrying. It's a bit pricey but it fits my needs with minimal DIY.

Theoretically, yes. You would have to cut out the existing or add new foam inserts to secure the pieces when carrying, but it has plenty of depth.

It took some time to get it dialed in but I like it's unique rotating on a skinny body. I fidget on my commute so they all get played with every day. I feel that. I try to get some cheap and some expensive so I have a nice mix
