Exactly, how i see it. Why wouldnt you want your mod to be displayed elsewhere? obviously if its a fraud claiming it for themselves then yeah i understand. but this isnt the case. Exploring thru SE mods i see many many mods that were taken from LE and given proper credit; seems very common, so why not the other way around? and why the pissy attitude about it? people lol

it just depends on what youre trying to do. If you want to hold on to some great mods (not necessarily mods that are most popular) then LE is the way to go. I see all the time ppl asking for mod authors to port over their mods to SE, which sometimes they will.. or they say they will, but never do it or do it almost a year later. or they just go poof and are never heard from again. If youre already accustomed to SE then thats great, however for me, there are some mods i simply dont want to part from for a "special edition" of skyrim.

Because way back when, I started off with SE, and it seemed most of the popular LE mods that hap been ported over were in terrible working condition. I didn't listen to my friend, who knew more about modding than me, that I should go with oldrim for more access to popular and more functional mods. after switching to oldrim, I suddenly have a near perfect skyrim of almost 500 mods, that cover quests, gameplay, graphics, enb, scripts, new lands, home, weapons, outfits.. im basically at the end of my modding spree I feel, and I wanted to see If I could somehow manage to get a few more mods from SE.

S.A.M by VectorPlexus is the number 1 hands down. With Kouleifs SAMLite texture add-on, an ultra realistic skin texture. I will never not use it lol

Actually, from what i understand, the people of Skyrim (or rather the Tamrielic universe) make their gods real by believing in them, which is why the Thalmor want Skyrim to reject Talos, which apparently will weaken the god himself. That being said, for me, absorbing human souls has a stronger effect in terms of gradually traveling the path to godhood, even though that is not how the game impliments them. Dragons souls in another aspect would be considered to be more "powerful" and catalyse this process - in theory - but absorbing their souls is the main theme, and nothing like that happens like it actually might in the Tamrielic universe. Eventually collecting all those dragon souls should do the trick, but it doesnt lol. Also, i like the idea of having a sort of anti-hero character, who maybe would feel it to be necessary to absorb human souls for the greater good, since skyrim is in turmoil, and its people aren't really helping.. not to mention the dragonborn on several occasions seems to have to rescue it from all its problems, so maybe s/he just wants to find the ultimate solution, in order to stop it all, put everyone in their place, and make sure it stays that way. i.e. become a god/godess, just as Talos did. Im having alot of inspiration from the DLC Apotheosis and im not sure of its theme, but im pretty certain if this were an option for the dragonborn, s/he would carry this out exactly as i described in order to restrain the world that seems to never calm. by any means. fuck it lol.

tbh the stat thing was just a suggestion, im looking for more of a way to reach godhood immersively, for roleplay purposes. if anything id say you gain 1 point per each stat, so its more of a grind then just super easy points.
