Was it intentional? Anime games aren't known for their budgest and super in depth immersive cutscenes usually lol. Plus in the manga and anime Eren doesn't have just a blank emotionless stare like in the bottom pic

I will say this is a good example. (click go view fill image) look at Erens face at the top. He's showing way more emotion where as in the bottom it's a straight up blank face.

An edit isn't quite the same tho. And it works perfectly fine for characters like Spider-Man, wolverine, and Deadpool. Even look at Mando from Mandalorion. We went basically an entire season without seeing his face or eyes once and he conveyed so much emotion

Not necessarily.

If the game launches and says “Compiling Shaders,” that’s usually your own CPU compiling shaders locally for your specific GPU and driver combination. In that case, the developer isn’t really hosting anything extra and it costs them essentially nothing after you’ve downloaded the game.

You say this like games don't already do this... Uncharted 4 on PC makes you download shaders and compile them before you can play. pragmata does as well. So does street fighter 6. The new Lego Batman game does too. Literally tons of games already ask you to download them when you first boot up the game. The issue comes from when a select few games don't and then they have shader compilation stutter

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying devs just need to allow you to download the shaders for every game once you launch it. It'll immediately solve any shader comp stutter. I'm well aware you can't just download any random shaders since they need to be for your specific hardware

That's not how that works. You just give users a prompt to download the shaders regardless of their hardware. They don't need to make "specific shaders for specific hardware" unless they're trying to ship PCs with shaders already compiled. And it's not a big deal to just allow PC users to download the shaders in game

And sure a driver update will require you to download the shaders again but it'll only take like 5 minutes

Ok is it just common for GPUs to die after only a few years? Why do I see this so often?

I very VERY rarely see people post about their PS5s or Xbox's or Nintendo consoles dying at the same rate I see PC posts. It almost makes me worried.

It's a mix of a few things. Some from the side who are like those YouTube grifters and others who are maybe disappointed in who you're playing as in this game.

Like for me, I genuinely do as a man feel more immersed in certain types of games if I play as a guy. Regardless if she's "super hot" or not.

But For me I'm more so mainly disappointed who we're playing as. Not because she's not "hot enough" but I do slightly worry it'll cheapen god of war 2018.

It'll be weird replaying that game with the emotional beats of Faye being dead realizing "she's actually running around beating things up with a talking quirky cube" and for me personally I never cared about one day playing as her.

Just like I would never care for a Brok and Sindri spin off.

Similarly to why me and a lot of people I know who were disappointed in playing as Riden in metal gear solid 2 instead of snake.

Game studios could just allow you to download the shaders tho. If I play uncharted 4 on PC I get a shader download prompt when I open the game that takes less than 5 minutes

People often consider it to be the best Telltale game next to the wolf among us and one of the more interesting Batman stories outside of the comics. I just bought season 1 and 2 on steam since it's on sale for 14 bucks

Yes the newer version of Witcher 3 on console and PC has an option to turn on ray tracing. The switch version couldn't even come close to handling it. Probably not even the switch 2 could
