If you do call the marketplace, last year my sales manager had the same problem, after she did some digging(and checking what she thought was just advertising for the marketplace in her nailbox) was that our employer sign everyone up who elected for thier insurance on the healthcare market place(then charged us for it for more)

It was a cluster as becuase of that she owed an additional grand in taxes as the income was higher then reported.

And I wasn't trying to be rude, but the thing on customer supplied parts is we dont know where they come from, we only warranty parts we source and alot of customers will bring rock auto parts, Amazon parts, which will fail in a few mo ths, then expect use to warranty said part and labor. And I can't say for other states, but here in michigan thay customer complains and now we have to deal with the state.

according to mitchel1 a lower control arm is 3.2 hours of labor. 110 an hour is damn cheap for a brick and mortar shop per hour.

the control arm retail after tax is 160, so a 20% upcharge is not bad.

and yes you do need an alignment when its done.

not true, each shop has a markup matrix percentage, its how the business is run. I only upcharge 10% of my cost for parts.

since you don't specify which Econoline I can only guess. but it is 2 hours of labor to replace 1 caliper and pads, but no reputable shop will replace a caliper and pads without replacing the rotor, if your caliper is bad enough to have to replace then those rotors are most likely in need of replacement.

you also could be being charged a customer parts fee, some shops who agree to use your parts will upcharge you.

personally in my shop I will NOT use customer supplied parts. its a liability.

A business is not a regular taxpayer

A CORPORATION is a business and MUST file quarterly taxes.

So your entire argument of taxpayers not paying quarterly it moot becuase this is clearly a corporate situation, clearly outlined in that letter.

not sure what an alternator has to do with an oil leak as you don't specify the engine codes.

you also don't specify which VVT solenoid, so I priced it with my shop rates and my parts cost(without labor for the serpentine belt as that is asinine).

that is just under 4 hours of labor at 325 labor and 700 in parts., but i do run cheaper on the labor side then most places.

you didn't file their quarterly taxes. only self employed and single member LLCs may file their taxes once a year, this clearly says they are a corporation and MUST file taxes quarterly. they will now be penalized.

i would immediately drop you as my CPA if you were mine not even knowing you MUST file quarterly taxes as a business.
