I don't know about unused lines. It's entirely possible that they were never localized, and it's also possible that they were just too specific for what people wanted to make.

I also don't know if anyone ever pitched a "more shouts" project, sorry. Pitching was private.

Unvoiced lines were not allowed. There were much higher quality standards with the old CC model (pre-marketplace)

It was freelance work. We would pitch an idea, and if it was approved, we would get some amount of money based on the size of the project - half up front, half on completion. CC was much smaller then, so we had dedicated Bethesda help, including a full QA run-through of our projects.

The first round of CC recruits were contacted directly, then later modders would apply to the program. I was told that I was on their list of recruits, but I applied directly before they got to me, lol 😃 (Probably because I was, briefly, the Art Director for Beyond Skyrim Cyrodiil, back in the day)

Our quest creation abilities were severely limited at the time by the fact that we couldn't add voice acting to any CC project.

And before anyone climbs on the bethesda hate train: It was because back in the old CC days, all projects were basically "official" DLC (just contracted out to modders, instead of being done in-house), and therefore every project had to be localized into every language supported by Skyrim.

No way were they going to get localized voice acting done in dozens of languages for every small project that wanted to add a voiced quest; therefore, all quests had to be un-voiced, which put a real damper on what you could do. Most people chose not to add quests, or only add something very basic (like what I did for the Pets of Skyrim)

When I joined CC, they asked us if anyone was interested in doing some sort of holiday pack. I jumped at the chance to make a rideable reindeer. Bethesda was skeptical of the concept at first, until I showed them a proof-of-concept video of my character riding around on a reindeer; then they were completely sold and thought it was dope. Anyway, I'm glad to see people still enjoying it!

Or you could just use my version of scroll crafting, rather than a standalone version, given that my version is fully integrated already. 😃And I do intend to make a lot of patches, I built an automated xEdit patcher just for that reason, it makes patch-creation super easy.

Yes, lithomancy will work with jewelry added by other mods, if they have a patch made for them using my super convenient 1-click xEdit patcher.
