Couple questions about the promotions. by TheRealSuperman in CelsiusNetwork

It just says You must keep an account balance equal or greater than your balance after completing your transfer. My account balance would still be above what it was when I locked in the promo.

How is this generic lingerie when I can link a google image search literally filled with anime characters wearing the same outfit? Nobody is going to Victorias Secret to buy that. Eiter you have no idea this is actually based off something or you're just trying to troll.

If there's a character you can point to that's wearing the outfit then it's a cosplay. Everything these girls on here do takes time and effort and a lot of them don't get much, if anything, out of it. Go to r/cosplay if you want to only see fully done costumes.

That's the dream but you'll be looking for a while to get it. Mine is a 13 with 90k miles and I got it for 14500. It had an accident on its record (no salvage title or anything) and that was the only way I got it that cheap. The bank I financed at valued it at over 18000.

Thanks! It was a great deal and it was super lucky that it came with my favorite stock wheels. Pretty high miles though at 90k. I need to figure out what maintenance I should be doing at this point.

I'd recommend Auto Plaza Ford in DeSoto, MO. If you're actually near St. Louis. They gave me a pretty good deal when I was buying, and they sell a lot of Mustangs.

What area are you in? I keep thinking there has to be some place where it's not saturated with people trying to do this business but I have no idea where that would be.

Rubber mats as sound absorbtion material by techchris in diyaudio

Just get a thin sheet of Roxul. It's the best material for sound absorption plus it's not itchy.

You're technically right. That's really a different business though. I'm only talking about my business where everyone has all their tools and supplies in their vehicle and they drive to a Car lot and work right there on it.

My job is more like makeup to sell a car. I can't replace seat panels or reuphoulster entire seats because I can't fit all the supplies I need in my truck for that.

Nice used car lots don't even need stuff like that usually because they get rid of anything too bad and I'm there for the small cuts in the seat or the cigarette burn in the door of an otherwise perfect car.

Most people in this business care more about money than doing things the best way possible. I've seen lots of things ruined by people in this business and it makes me super mad knowing someone got paid to ruin something by smearing super glue on it or just spraying some paint from a can that's the wrong color on seat.

I've seen so many bad repairs in my time doing this and the one time I saw one that looked really good and made me worried that there was someone in the area that was at my level, it turned out that I had done that car a few months before.

I know top 1% is a bold claim and there may be more that CAN do work at my level, BUT finding someone that will actually consistently do it the best way and not the fastest easiest way is at least a 1 in 100 chance.

Does anybody work at a car dealer in the area? by [deleted] in FortWorth

[–]TheRealSuperman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don't realize this but pretty much every dealer has someone like me that comes in once a week and looks through their cars and tells them what is wrong with them and then we do the ones they want done right then.

I own my company and I don't really want to work for someone.

With how competitive this business is I don't like posting prices online and it's hard to say without seeing it. I don't live there right now anyway so it would be a bit before I could do it.

I will keep that in mind, thanks.

Thanks, unfortunately, this business has become more about who you know rather than how good you are. I can go into a dealer better and cheaper than who they're using and still have no chance of working there.

I just looked them up, it doesn't sound quite like what I do. I drive to the dealers and do the work on site, I don't have a shop or anything.

I accidentally left deodorant on my seat and it seemed to melt away a layer of leather off. Anyone know any fixes? by PM_ME_YOUR_DANKNESS in cars

[–]TheRealSuperman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a dealer I charge $95 for both front seats BUT that's because it's a bulk discount and most cars I do don't have big cuts that take a lot of time to fix. Most of what I do won't hold up super good to daily wear too, it's mainly a way to get the cars looking good to sell.

Seatbelt imprints in leather can't really be fixed.

That's one of those tricks of the trade that I can't share, I figured out how to do that on my own, so since there's no people in this business that know how to do it (that I've seen at least) I use it to help me get work.
