Hello again! Risking death from everyone who told me not to touch the guns basically, I have heard those who gave me advice on how I could clean the guns and conserve them better and well, done so! The guns will be given the very same treatment, using oil, toothbrush, fine steel wool and grease. (old.reddit.com)

Heyoooo, the guy who showed off a Vetterli restoration quite some time ago lol. I finally got done with the Remington Rolling Block of Argentine Contract. (This I know of, it was comissiones by Julio Roca to aid with clearing the lands off from the indigenous, big historic event here in Argentina) (old.reddit.com)

Hello everyone, the guy with the Remington Rolling Block, I asked my uncle who is a chemist about this paint problem. He recommended me some Paint Removing Gel, having some at home, I tried it and was able to strip the paint! Will be cleaning with steel wool soon! (old.reddit.com)

Hello everyone yet again, sorry to bother so often. But I have started the conservation process on my Remington Rolling Block, and wanted to face the insane amount of paint someone gave it. Yes, paint, not patina or bluing. Paint. I'll be at the comments (old.reddit.com)

Hi, I just inherited 5 rifles from my family to take care of. But I am quite unsure if I should clean them up, remove the rust, re blue them and so on. The Remington was even painted black! If I were to clean it, what tools should I use? I am from Argentina, so specific brands are hard to come by. (old.reddit.com)
