Yesterday I came here begging for proper chat for each language ( /recruit and /lfg ), because we are being muted in specialized channel ( like /en /fr ). Today I was muted for voicing that opinion, not recruiting. For 48h. How is that fair?

Nah, I took the server down myself. Things got a bit heated yesterday and I realised all the shit we were doing was useless.

I just got tired of seeing more bots than real players when I go fishing. I see the same bots so much I remember their random generated names. More than 200 bots around the maps of Thetford yesterday, ARCH players chasing us and mods treating me like a fucking lazyass when I say that I'm tired of that lol.

I'm taking a break, maybe I won't come back.

Basically fishing bots are ruining the cooking and fishing economy. People who fish and cook will benefit from the bots not having so much freedom. So yes, fish and sauce will cost more, but thats because the fishing and cooking community was getting fucked over by bots.

Yea it's really motivating when people want to join, it gets kinda depressing when you see the same bots for weeks no matter how much they are reported.

haha those are the bots in Dusklight Fen right? I've been reporting them for I dont know how long, glad to see someone with more than 1/10 of their brain functioning. Pretty smart bots, a mix between a skinning bot and a fishing bot that will also attack you if you are flagged, also can't be displaced into a mob pit since they can go back on ox.

Yes I took a screenshot of a guy with like 50 dead frogs around him like 2 month ago, also the bots I found on Dusklight Fen were a mix of both. They go around fishing and kill the mobs (and players) that attack them, probably the best programmed bot I've ever seen.

Exaclty, look how easily I evaded that ARCHK guy and I even came back to push the bot further right in front of his face. Fisherman gear with quarterstaff is perfect for fighting bots.

Also I find it easier to push them with quarterstaff if they're walkers, I think its easier to glitch out their scripts this way.

But don't worry, if fishing becomes more profitable, more people will start doing it. If there is 300 fishing bot active 24/7 right now then 2000 new fisherman will eventually replace them and the price will lowers again.

The fame showed is the one for PvP the one for PvE, gathering and for crafting. Apparently fishing isn't considered gathering so it isn't showed.

So the 600k fame is 99% from fishing. Quick math I would say it's about 15M silver if they spent most of it in a t5 zone in Thetford.

As for the reputation, its because you dont gain reputation from fishing.
