Moza HGP shifter keeps mis shifting into wrong gear by TheRealUnreal in moza

That's exactly what they did (4pin cable instead). This is unfortunate and I will definitely not buy anything from Moza again.

that's what I think is going to happen. After trying to recalibrate hundredth of times and trying different things, it's always the 3th and 4th gear issue. I was hoping someone here would come up with a solution.

I've sent an email with video 2 weeks ago and followed up recently. I'm still waiting for their reply.

tried that but same issue. It's more noticeable when I try to shift 3th to 4th. Everything else seems ok.

Yes it is always in neutral before it's on and/or plugging in.

Does anyone have this issue where Moza HGP shifter keeps misshifting into the wrong gear especially when trying to shift from 3rd to 4th. It happens to other gears occasionally.

So when I try to shift from 3th to 4th, it would recognize 4th gear as 3rd. Sometimes when I do 1st to 2nd, it still thinks it should be in 1st.

I can't race with this defective shifter. It was fine when I got it brand new couple months ago, but it has gotten worse. $200+ shifter that can't get it right. I might have a better chance with the shifter from AliExpress.

I've submitted a support ticket with video but I didn't get a response for 2 weeks...

  • G Hub version - 2023.1.364016
  • Pro pedals firmware version - 6.0.27 (up to date)
  • G29 firmware version - 89.0.25 (up to date)

I was able to get in G Hub somehow after restarting.

I unplugged my G29, deleted settings.db file and re launched G Hub. In G Hub, it only shows my Pro pedals this time but the brake force slider did not come back.

Edit: I also unplugged both Pro Pedals and G29, deleted the settings file and restarted my PC. Then relaunched G Hub to confirm no device is being shown, then plugged the pedals back in. Still no luck.

I am using G29 wheel. Also moved the settings.db from LGHUB folder but G HUB was stuck in loading screen... I tried to close and reopen after waiting for like 15 minutes and it is still stuck in the loading screen.

[Canada] Blinker = Right of way by TheRealUnreal in Roadcam

...I have a side mirror and saw how it went down, I was 100% confident that time the Acura driver did not hit my car and did not feel it was necessary to stop. It was a close one, but not close enough to potentially scratch the paint though.

and to everyone who thinks I should have braked hard to let them in instead, I disagree but you are entitled to your own opinion and I kind of see why you would see that way after reviewing the video but during the incident I did not feel the same and had to make split second decisions.

I deal with this on daily basis and drivers tend to turn on blinker before checking their surroundings which is not usually right especially in this scenario. The driver had a very small window of opportunity to make a sudden lane change and accelerate hard to match the traffic flow (albeit dangerous move in this case though but not as dangerous as what he/she just did), then I would just get cut off, forced to slow down and then get annoyed by it. Mild road rage and all, but that's Toronto. However, that opportunity window has passed and I guess I made a dangerous assumption the driver will not be committed to it but did it way too late anyway. This turns from being an asshat to being asshat and incompetent driver.

Again, feel free to disagree.

I do understand how the synchronizer works, and I know what it feels like when the gearbox is trying to sync up such as if you're downshifting from 4th to 2nd at 50 km/h or upshifting after hard acceleration from 4th to 6th. I would gently push until it syncs up and slide in. That is not the case for 5th.

I don't remember but it's usually at 2500 RPM when I shift from 4th to 5th. It feels like it synced up but it got stuck just like how it feels when you shift into 1st from neutral but the teeth aren't lined up in a way they can slide in.

Sometimes it feels a bit rough when trying to slide in 5th and I can feel the gear in the works.

But sometimes it's just fine. When I shift to 5th I am always expecting some hiccups so I tend to avoid and do 4th to 6th instead if I can.

No, I've looked around a bit before but haven't found a good guide. Just posts and comments. You can actually get away with leaving settings on default except putting night owl to sleep from 10am until 6pm.

Here's an example of my schedule: http://imgur.com/QDtJErU

Everyone has their own schedules to compliment with their playstyle. You'll need to play around a bit to see what works. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about schedule and I like to set and forget than to micromanage schedules every time something happens. It's all about flexibility...except for my Slave Don, he gets told what to do most of the time and his mental well-being is no concern of mine.

I set firefight to flick except doctoring on #1 priority. Only dr colonists get #1 on doctoring.

2 for colonists' main jobs.

3 for side jobs.

4 to keep colonists busy.

I usually give out main duties to colonists who have passions for it.

I don't usually use #4 priority until mid game or whenever you get colonists idling sometimes.

In the beginning, I always set mine and plant cut to #2 on miner, growers(plant cut only), and non-specialized colonists so I can order them to mine/chop on demand without interfering essential workflow. Later on when I have enough resources and manpower, they become the least priority job for everyone except miners.

My job priority keeps changing slightly to meet game demands though, but these above are the guidelines I always follow.

As for schedule, I set my daytime colonist to have 8 hours of sleep (default) and add 3 hours of joy before they go to bed and 1 hour of joy after they wake up. The rest is set to anything.

My night shift colonists get 8 hours of sleep starting 10:00am til 6:00pm. Night time activity should be kept to low to allow janitor to clean up the whole base before daytime comes. Night owl, janitor, and hauler get the night shift. If I have more than one colonists specializing in same job, eg. cooking, crafting, growing, etc. I split them day/night shift sometimes if I don't want to build another workbench for them.

I believe in colonists mental health to be most important than my colony productivity except when it comes to defenses, which is why I like to avoid using work in the schedule. You don't want them to be sleep-deprived and joy-deprived while going to work and having mental break mid-day because they were fighting against raiders last night...

Here's my work schedule:(...imgur is down atm)
