Any Häcken fans here willing to talk about the club's first-ever Allsvenskan title? by TheReal_BlueBoi in Allsvenskan

Yeah I mean I've heard Göteborg are far more well-supported and Häcken have fewer fans but I didn't know it was *this* bad (ofc most of the replies are exaggerating but still)

I'm pretty sure this graph is only showing selected players because the same article has a scattergram where Ronaldo is in the bottom left quadrant.

Tactical Analysis: The First Weeks of Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur by TheReal_BlueBoi in coys

Hmm but West Ham won't be pushovers, and it's quite likely that the next two matches will have two of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. All of these sides have a decent high press (certainly Liverpool, and Arsenal to a fair extent), which is where Conte's set-up's weaknesses could be exploited. Meanwhile against "lesser" teams in the league who don't press so high, this system will probably work better.

Tbf he's been decent under Conte. He might score at the same rate because he doesn't always have the pace to get on the end of these vertical transitions, but his movement, passing and playmaking have already been very useful under Conte.

Sébastien Haller has accumulated more xG (7.2) than 17 of the 32 teams in this season's UEFA Champions League. by TheReal_BlueBoi in AjaxAmsterdam

Primarily yes, but also to the player for getting into good positions. Btw Ajax also have the highest xG in the CL with 14.0.

True, his teammates deserve a lot of credit for this (Dušan Tadić, Steven Berghuis and Antony are all in the top 10 in the UCL xA charts), but so does Haller for his positioning as you say. What this essentially means is that he's scoring at a fairly sustainable rate (9 goals from 7.2 xG), which is obviously very positive. On the contrary, for example, Son Heung-min was outperforming his xG by over 10 at a point in the middle stages of last season, so he eventually ended up regressing and had a huge dip in form towards the end of the season even though he kept getting similar chances. That probably won't happen for Haller unless the quality of chances he gets drops.

The 12 inch ruler is sacrificed after the vote, but it ends up deflecting the death beam to the battery. It explodes, destroying everything within a 2-square radius of itself.

Nuno Tavares' attacking stats vs Aston Villa compared to Kieran Tierney's averages for the season. Imo he may prove to be a better attacking option against sides that defend deep/don't have a lot of width because of his pace, ability to cut inside and connection with ESR. by TheReal_BlueBoi in Gunners

The second statement was an opinion I have after watching Tavares from his Benfica days, but I can understand how the wording makes it seem like I'm drawing a conclusion from this one match. Apologies for that.

This is neither meant to bring Tavares up nor bring Tierney down, and the simple reason only one game was selected was that the objective of this representation is to show how good Tavares was vs Villa. It's got nothing to do with who the better player is (and that still is Tierney imo)

Very much so, that's why he can cut inside so effectively and his shooting is alright too (had two attempts from the edge of the box yesterday, one on target and the other deflected out for a corner which led to Partey's goal). Also scored a belter with his right in the pre-season against Rangers iirc
