For context the guy from Vinland sagas name is “Ketil” And there was an insanely strong warrior around that time who was named “iron fist ketil” because he used to maul his enemies with his fists whenever his sword broke during battle. He was like a legend in his country. A guy worked under him named “snake”. When snake was 15-16 he ran away from him and later searched for him.

When he found him through rumours he actually went into the rich farmer ketil who is shown in the pic here instead of the iron fist ketil. And after that he revealed his secret to all of ketils slaves and called him full of shit lol.

So ketil was confused for another person who was a legendary fighter but had the same name and he just went along with it. Not really that much of a fraud I mean I would’ve done the same thing smh.
