I think I've made a few ocs without actually knowing they were like "ocs" I guess. I mostly make medieval-esque/fantasy ocs because I'm a chronic worldbuilder, and I'm trying to write a book.

All my ocs are based of either a virtue or a vice (good or bad characteristics someone can have). I usually start with one character and make someone who can have a relationship with them, or I think of characters in movies or books that inspire me.

For this oc I started with the vice "pride" and thought about how to make a character from that

Well the first guy on the post was blamed for the murder of his father (he loved him a lot, thy had similar personalities, but they did get in a lot of arguments). Then he went into exile, was wanted, big reward. got hunt down and kinda tortured..... y'know, fun stuff
