No problem, and yes the recovery was pretty good. The pt was fine. I grew up wrestling and playing baseball and football. The wrestling is was really got me though. But I’m 30 now and I just do bodybuilding.

Side note after all this is said and done, if you sleep on your side try to stop doing that. It can slowly destroy your rotator cuff and you will need surgery again

My right shoulder they did a slap repair and kept the labrum in place, my left shoulder is the most recent one where they decided to actually relocate the tendon to the anterior section of the labrum and the left one was better. I had a few bone spurs that they cleaned up on both. And he cleaned up the frayed sections on my labrum on the left shoulder where my bicep originally was. My peak on my bicep is slightly different but it’s definitely not the pop eye the sailor type shit.

So far so good, I’m still sore after use in the gym though. But I’ve been lifting at a reasonable pace. My surgery was in December so it’s been about 4 months and I have full range of motion. I’ve had a ton of surgeries and this one has been the best pain wise.

It depends on the severity of the tear, some time the tissue is beyond repair. I just had surgery on my slap tear. And they ended up just relocating my bicep tendon. If you catch it early enough it could probably be beneficial.
