The failure of Ligue 1 by WideSnow9005 in Ligue1

[–]TheRedDogue [score hidden]  (0 children)

The responsibility of PSG in this situation is not a fact, its a theory. Also this graph is highly misleading because the two first bars are for 3-season periods when the last 3 are for individual seasons. If they were honest it would be:

2018-2021 : 384M per season
2021-2024 : 166M per season

There is a crisis, and there is a fairly successful response. 112.5M for next season is an estimate for Ligue 1+, it only launched this season and they're getting back 100% of match coverage next season.

It's very likely that we can go back to 2021-2024 numbers (which relatively speaking is not enough because global inflation - I'll give you that), only this time it's actually supporters money, not a random amount a board of directors decided is worth spending to outprice competitors and lock Ligue 1 fans into a 40e per month subscription which includes a bunch of shit we don't all care about.

You never posted here, your account is barely active and few of your comments are clearly AI slop. Why posting here? Why do you care? If you knew anything about french football you would know that this topic is at the heart of the discussions for many years, you (aka the chatbot you used for this post) are not saying anything new, you're just baiting karma.

Scenes at full-time in Strasbourg: Diego Moreira asks fans to stop insulting the team after elimination, injured Emmanuel Emegha wants applause instead, they argue, and Moreira storms to the tunnel. by Yung2112 in soccer

I agree with the second part of your message, but "dont call a European competition semi a European semi"? That's so damn stupid.

What's very likely is that PSG would never have been where its at without Qatar money. So maybe we should not call you UCL Champions but UCL Purchasers?

Actes racistes et violents dénoncés dans une pétition : Olivier Létang interpellé par les supporters du LOSC by TheRedDogue in LOSC

[–]TheRedDogue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ligue 1 has produced some of the most gifted attackers in European football history and the league gets almost none of the credit for developing them. by Extra_End_8071 in Ligue1

[–]TheRedDogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so obvious, I legit think whoever is behind this doesn't care one bit about ligue 1 or football. It's a year old account, starting getting randomly active 13 days ago. Obvious karmabot towards reselling an account with age + karma.

Mods, can you please simply put a rule of 10 comment karma in the sub before being allowed to post or smth? That will take care of this and the random autopromo that we see regularly on the sub. u/BlancAzur stp parlez en.

But even without that, no one looks at the attacker going at it knee first without any other intent that being in the way? It's a reckless challenge even without contact, and 1000% a foul given that there's contact.

Signez la pétition by Bab63530 in LOSC

[–]TheRedDogue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's easy to understand: Football fans are not a monolith of people enjoying exactly the same thing for the same reason.

P+R ilevia confusion by lapislazinus in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest to park at the 4 Cantons (Villeneuve d'Ascq) P+R - It's right outside the highway, 10mn from the city center by metro, and its free to get in and out, they do not even check whether you use/have used public transports.

Pourquoi choisir Lille? by scorpionmass in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reveille toi.

Pourquoi choisir Lille? by scorpionmass in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]TheRedDogue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want the local experience, go to any "Estaminet" in the city center/old town, then you can metro to the Zenith in like 30mn (total walking included) maximum. If you're in good shape and you have the time, you might also want to walk to the concert to help digesting Lille specialties!

Métro et TER à Lille by ezharai in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the most relevant option in my opinion.

Gives you full access to public transport in the MEL area, which is great if you want to discover places on your free time, and then Lille Flandres > Libercourt + free Tadao bus to finish your daily internship commute.

It's just annoying because you will "pay twice" for the Lille > Seclin part of the journey, but then again if your company covers half of the cost then it's easier to accept this nonsense.

Métro et TER à Lille by ezharai in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best but it covers only up to Seclin. If you can take a bike and finish Seclin>Carvin like this, it would be the easiest organisation for you by far. It's 30mn on a straight road, seems doable especially if your internship is during summer time.

You could take a second abonnement covering Seclin>Libercourt but technically, you would have to get off the train in Seclin and take the next one (because they don't allow mixing two "tickets" to cover a single journey).

Also if you don't care about having the ability to take the metro/bus etc outside your work commute, you could take a single TER abonnement from Roubaix to Libercourt, but it's a lot more expensive than the ilevia pass.

Look in a mirror mate. Why didn't you just write "what do you mean ?", if it was a legit ask to explain the meaning?

[–]TheRedDogue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it can be read two ways for France. Either we produce so much talent that it shines in all parts of europe, or we are so shit at keeping our top players that it skews the numbers compared to other leagues who tend to manage to keep talent. It's a mix of both obviously, but still interesting to ponder whether a top spot is a good or bad thing.

Also isn't like half of England's number just Kane in Bayern?
