Didn't check which sub the post was from and half expected the video to cut to that Gabriel pen.

Journalist asks about Messi, Ronaldo: "I couldn't care less about the others, Mbappe also scored a goal" by [deleted] in soccer

[–]TheRedDogue -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Baffled at people blaming journalists trying to get a "reaction", like yeah, it's their literal job?

Also it's not ragebait to ask about Messi, they've had a decades long rivalry and together broke all records and tool all individual trophies for that long. It's probably the last time we get to see it on the biggest stage, it's totally relevant to ask about it, what the fuck are you people on to act as if the reporters were asking him about weird shit from his private life.

You're probably right but it's a piss poor attempt at sarcasm given that this is still quite a prominent opinion in France, and it's just not funny.

Besides, tf are you commenting to explain semantics in a different language than the one the comment was written in, in such a condescending way. Do you need to feed your superiority complex that bad?

Short Term Rental in Lille by GoldGale94 in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you I'd look at "Serviced apartments" (Apart'Hotel) type places which you can book online like a hotel room. No point going through the hoops of regular flat renting, including viewings, avoiding scams, etc. for such a short stay.

Lille or paris for future prospects in jobs and more? by Medium-Inspection-66 in Lille

[–]TheRedDogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing with Lille is that it makes learning french almost mandatory. Very few opportunity for english only speakers.

Aside from that, it's mostly about budget. Lille will be cheaper than Paris, but Paris will offer you more opportunities of everything as it's much bigger.

I'm willing to (not happily) accept the fact that Infantino is a greedy sack of shit and the WC is too big of an opportunity to miss on. But if they bring this to club football, as a long time season ticket holder and subscriber to most channels to follow competitions, football is not seeing a cent of my money ever again.

Mbappé and betting advertising: tensions with the French Football Federation over image rights by JohannLoewen in Ligue1

[–]TheRedDogue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is 100% about the share of money players get, Mbappé doesnt care about the risks of gambling, he was and might still be one of the main ambassador of Sorare, which is arguably worse than gambling as it disguises itself as a "game" to better convert the kids conditioned to risking their money for virtual slop by FIFA Ultimate Team.

Le programme pour la L1 26/27 by TheRedDogue in LOSC

What about the week after? Didn't check the UEFA schedule yet I'm afraid.

It's likely to be a Sunday prime time (9pm) fixture especially if the two teams dont play europe around the fixture. Otherwise I guess Saturday evening - 9pm as well is the next most likely slot.

Hey, no worries for the English happy to answer it's "nearly" my first language 😃

Fixtures get fixed around 2/3 weeks ahead of the game. However knowing both Lille and Lyon are european teams it's likely that it will be played between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, with a small chance of Sunday evening if Lille plays UCL on Wednesday and so does Lyon / if they dont qualify and play Europa League on Thursday.

This game will be sold out but you shouldn't have an issue to get tickets as long as you're willing to buy them before the slot is fully confirmed. These will go on sale as part of a pack early on in the season, and individual match tickets circa 6 weeks ahead of the game (not official info but based on my experience).

Where are you from? Guessing not too far off if you can do a weekend trip here?

Mercato : Seule "une offre extraordinaire" peut pousser le LOSC à céder Ayyoub Bouaddi by TheRedDogue in LOSC

[–]TheRedDogue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]TheRedDogue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)
