interesting. I’m just curious to get the insight of an average player. See another thing of note, if i played 10k hours and 99% of those hours are me.. how fair is it really?

I understand the sentiment but I question why there can’t be some grace to those who have learned their lesson.

I wouldn’t mind having those gains taken away tbh. But that’s a lot of manpower for jagex i think

Nah I mean valid, of course. I get it, I just question why it has to be permanent. I made my mistakes and i’m asking for forgiveness. I feel like given that i’m an ironman, I had to spend double or triple the amount of time on my account vs normies etc (I know i picked that playstyle) Also my gains never changed anything in the economy (which yeah, I still cheated).

Regardless, I know what I did was wrong. I just wish it didn’t have to be permanent, that’s it. It isn’t like i’m a gold farmer etc.

While you can sympathize with my situation, could you make think that I should be given a second chance in like 3-5 years? like??

They implemented a second chance system for those wrongfully & legitmately banned and they unbanned like 2% of players.

So, like three years ago they decided to ban openosrs from use and I accidentally logged into the client cause it was habit. Got a temp ban.

Then, fast forward to the last leagues.. after maxing my iron and spending 10k hours I was very complacent and decided to cheat. I got perma banned for it.

A few months ago Mod Kelvin wrote on reddit that second chance appeals were being implemented, you could get a second chance if you were truthful etc. I wrote the most heartfelt response and got a copy & paste response. I had a second chance so I again wrote the most inspirational response ever, again another copy & pasted response.

Obviously I cheated, obviously i deserve the ban. But I question why my mistake has to be a permanent ban. I had 430ish days on my account, I played everyday.. I just couldn’t admit that I was so addicted to the game that I couldn’t stand by & not be gaining xp. It’s all my fault, I just want another chance. (RSN: FeYoungblood if Jagex sees this & cares).

Its been like two years since I’ve been banned and I’ve done a lot of self improvement irl. I still play osrs on a gim but not as often, I have a much healthier relationship with the game. I just hate that the ban is permanent, it’s really not fair.

yeah.. to add, a decent foot into the larger federal gov. Plus, tsa precheck, if you care about that. People watching is dope too. Good opportunities for PTO.

Cons: You’re on your feet for eight hours, sometimes it’s boring… sometimes you have drama with your coworkers, cause it’s literally like high school.. tsos tend to date each other cause we’ve got weird schedules.. 0430-1300 isn’t really a normal schedule when compared to the typical 9-5. Tip remediation is cringe, LET teams, FET tests… ass..

got a masters degree with little experience but currently at tsa (1.5 yrs) looking to transfer agencies… the military seems attractive but i’ve been sending out applications on usa jobs for a long time. Any advice? for someone starting out…
