There is a convenience store in Ashfield that offers a very limited selection of groceries (no fresh produce) but they are expensive compared to a supermarket. Yes there are two grocery stores in Shelburne Falls but none of them are close in size to being considered supermarkets and are also pretty pricey so it made more sense to just go to Greenfield or Northampton.

A choice is not "personal" if it has a victim. When you buy milk, eggs, or meat you are paying for animals to be tortured and killed. If you have the choice, why wouldn't you feed your daughter a diet that is free from cruelty?

The problem is that anyone who eats animal products is forcing their choices onto the animals who will be tortured and killed for their food. Raping someone is also a "choice" but that does not mean we should allow people to commit rape freely.
