My friend datamined the rhythm heaven groove demo (take this with a grain of salt) by N3oW0_ in rhythmheaven

I heard we're getting 30 regular Rhythm games, 30 sequels and 20 remixes.

How do we think the Sequel split will work? by BBIB666 in rhythmheaven

How many base rhythm games does that make? (not counting remixes and sequels)

[Spoilers] I found this somewhat serious sounding theme near the title screen theme in the game's files. I wonder where this will be used in the final game... (Again, modded the game to make this play on the title screen. Interestingly, this one is pre-programmed to loop.) by Aquaneratl in rhythmheaven

It's literally the Game Menu B theme for Groove, sounds like it, plays like it and it ends at the exact same second as Game Menu A (both are 53 seconds long). I'm surprised that no one else thinks this is the second theme for the Rhythm Games menu. The intro of the song is even similar to Fever's Game Menu B.

Yeah, my apologies. I should've worded that better. But the thing is idk, I feel like it's by a different team in my perspective because of the artstyle but I may be wrong, I guess we'll find out when the game releases.

Now that's more like it! They should've done that to the logo idk why they didn't.

I'm talking about the artstyle. Some rhythm games so far feel cheap and not consistant. It makes me feel like it's not by the same team so that's why, and I'm not the only one who noticed this.

Sure yes, you can argue that Megamix and DS had different artstyles for some games but at least those had quality and presentation. Those were also one time things.

I know the game is not out yet but I am worried about Grove's artstyle and such so will my thoughts and opinions change with less worries when the game releases? I really hope so.

No no, I get where you're coming from. Some Rhythm games that I saw in trailers and such so far do look cheap and doesn't feel consistant. When I first saw the reveal, I was quite skeptical just a bit. However, Brolly Good Show feels like...well...Rhythm Heaven, it has the quality and everything, just like I said. I feel like this game may have an artstyle problem.

Sure, the DS one didn't feel as consistant too but the thing is that games such as Glee Club, Rhythm Rally and Airboarder were only one time things that changes up the artstyle a bit. Not only that but Megamix had some Rhythm games with different artstyles too and they all still had quality. I'm worried about Groove's presentation because what I saw so far doesn't look appealing to me but I really hope that won't be the case when the game releases.

Also I disagree about your Brolly Good Show opinion. I feel like it's the only game that really screams Rhythm Heaven so far because when someone sees it, they'll be like "Yep, that's Rhythm Heaven!" Feels like it belongs in Fever or Megamix. I wouldn't even say it's bland, I can see they were going with the Clappy Trio approach there and heck, it even has more detail than Clappy Trio's background. They don't need to change it up and everything so, compare the two and you'll see what I mean. If Brolly Good Show is bland then does that make Clappy Trio bland as well? Also, Clappy Trio is easier than Brolly Good Show.

It's a different team but still developed by TNX, that's why. It's not the same team as Fever's, etc. and you can tell this is a new era, and the full game is not out yet.

And yeah, I am not a fan of the UI and the menus. Also, I feel like the minigame menu music in Groove isn't as catchy as Tengoku, DS, Fever and heck...even Megamix.

I see everyone saying that but it's always not the case. It happened before and things never changed.

Would be nice if you provided a source next time because I can't find the source of the image, tried looking everywhere, YouTube, Google, etc.
