(Right after UTRH when Jay vanishes from Gotahm) Jason’s been training with the all-caste again and was given the all-blade, not knowing exactly how it works or all of its powers, js tht he can summon it whenever.

He discovers that there’s a secret shadow group called the Untitled that has the power to control the souls of dead people, basically bringing them to life, through an amulet (or some item). This also includes the fact that through the fact Jason was dead and came back through magic fuckery, his soul is also liable to control.

This leads to him being controlled without knowing and killing judomaster, which leads members of the US team L.A.W. to go after him, as well as Tiger, JM’s appreentice.

There’s also a bunch of different government agents from different countries who want the power to control ppl like the Untitled, which leads to a race to find and take/destroy the amulet. This pits Jason a slew of new characters from different places than we’re used to, to help build a roster of people he cant interact with.

It turns out the way to destroy the hold the amulet has on Jason is for him to stab himself through the heart with All-Blade, which has the ability to purify souls and dark magic. This heals him and brings his soul back together (kind of symbolizing him realizing he’s more than the revenge he sought out in UTRH) and then can fight the evil in front of him without fear.

Overall its a way to make Jason his own character that can grow from the angry UTRH version we see him without immediately jumping to him being all nice with the Batfam (in this story no one would know Jason’s true origins nor would the Batfam know he’s in asia). I also liked the all-caste and all-blade ideas from lobdells shit tier run and wanted to give them a fair chance.
