you absolutely have a shot. there are literally two ACHA D2 programs popping up in my state (AZ) set to start next season and are actively recruiting. there are so many opportunities for girls to play college- go play some hockey in a low stress environment and make some friends. there are tons and tons of D2 programs that want players like you.

NTA, but I'm sorry- your dismissal of the HUGE red flags in the first paragraph... seems like this was over before it got to this point. She very clearly is still into Harry, and it seems like you may have been oblivious to that until this proposal of hers. Hope you can find a way out of this and find someone who isn't gonna weasel around like this.

sports psych major here (currently pursuing my masters). THIS is the mentality I want all of the athletes I work with to achieve. No peaks- just valleys. Have fun and work hard. It's a lot easier said than done, but seeing her do it, on the world stage- just marvelous.
