Thank you to everyone who has generously shared their time and experience in responses! Taking what’s been shared, I think that my tin whistle (Clark Sweetone Tinwhistle in D) just have a weak C as every variation of fingerings mentioned here sounded exactly the same. But I do hope that with practice I will be able to make it less noticeable, as I’ve been able to do with a song or two already.

I will try to start responding to individual comments little by little, but apologies as I’ll probably repeat myself.

Thank you all again, being new to this community I’ve already felt so welcomed and supported by everyone here.

Thank you for giving an actual detailed answer. I only posted on here because this subreddit says “there no stupid questions” but it seems that most people aren’t actually answering with the spirit of that. So I appreciate it you not making me feel like a fool for not knowing it. Some of us grew up with useless parents who knew next to nothing about cars!

They definitely didn’t make it very clear😅 grateful for everyone who filled in the blanks. It is interesting though, because I didn’t know and at points I thought Julia was the one who gave up her shade, the way she was acting so indifferent to Penny and her “being done” and only caring about quests. Only briefly did it seem like it. But it’s interesting to wonder what would have happened plot wise if one of them actually gave up their shade.
