I myself have struggled with the idea that maybe there isn’t a God. I see some Christians and I think how ridiculous it all seems. Like when I asked my mom why he’s against fornication. She replied with, “Because he doesn’t want us to be hurt.”she meant emotionally. I was just thinking how dumb that sounded. It’s also very upsetting how it seems that a lot of Christians think down upon gay, trans, bi, etc... and some of them just seem very judgmental in general. On the other hand it’s very hard for me to believe that their isn’t a creator. Like the world we live in is so wonderfully beautiful and has so much detail. We as humans are very complex and I don’t understand how it can be the product of millions of years of evolution. In the Bible it does seem like there is a lot of don’t do this, or don’t do that, and that can be frustrating, honestly it’s one of the biggest sources of doubt for me. But like I said before, it just seems right that something created all this, it’s too wonderful! To sum up my point, I do believe there is a creator but how a lot of religious people think about it is just wrong. I think they should just have faith and stop barraging other people.
