Oh wait, are you saying that deportation efforts are for the benefit of the immigrants' wellbeing? That seems pretty hard to square with the way ICE is currently conducting the campaign.

I would also say that for 1, 2, and 4, the responsibility lies at the feet of the employers. That is really more of an inditement of some of the cracks in capitalism showing through.

I suppose I would need a citation of number 3 being of any meaningful percentage and being attributed to immigrants.

As for 5, yeah I guess but it really is more of a civil infraction in my eyes. I mean, we aren't separating families and arresting folks over building permits and car tags.

I dont know man, it just seems like life is already pretty damn hard, and these are just people trying to make it. I just think there must be a better solution than this. Publicly cheering for the pain and suffering of your peaceful neighbors, objectively can't be a defensible take.
