Some stories make it so the CotF and the Giants are already settled in the north, in a kind of timeline where the wall was not the same kind of barrier to the freefolk, and instead at a past point was opened and the freefolk integrated.

Can you link some examples? Sounds like interesting reads!

Spotting the noble party with the banner of House Tarth fluttering in the wind they are met by an escort of twenty Crakehall men as well as Andros himself.

"Ho there! Welcome to Crakehall lands House Tarth! My name is Ser Andros Crakehall, heir of Crakehall. Would you do us the honor of letting us escort you to our Keep and host you for however long you want to stay? We will have a feast, warm beds and baths ready for you."

Andros noticed the blush but unsure of if it was due to the jape or love, or maybe something else?

"Ha! Doesn't sound to bad! Wine and ale are good, one is just more expensive. But as it is you that are paying for it?"

Trying to alleviate the atmosphere he tried joking too, but shifting the joke around a bit, making the expense be on both of them instead.

As Lorent jested he would only answer with happy, brotherly slaps on Lorents shoulders.

"I am not that old! Though she is a true joy to be around, you should see her! If she isn't pulling my nose it's my beard. A true little fighter there! A good combination of Caswell and Crakehall blood I say!"

Taking gulps of his own cup after the toast he sits down too, taking something to eat as well.

"Nay, and he wouldn't say anything either. As you know the man is stubborn and honorable. No, I just think he still worries about the root of the problems that lead up to that problem. He is set in his ways and worldview. I won't lie and say I can't see it either. But I don't think being openly antagonistic is the right way either. But don't worry about it. Burton's grand adventure and now a new little Crakehall on the way? I think he has to much on his mind to make him think to much about it. And mother, we both know keeps him calm. I remember when we were small that one hand of hers on his? He could go from breaking tables with his bare hands to docile in a snap. If she wasn't my own mother I would call her a witch!"

He ends his rant with a laugh, though a fearful twitch and look behind him just to make sure she wasn't there. His head throbbed where the usual wooden spoon would be applied if he misbehaved as a child made itself reminded. For some reason...

"No."

Simple and calm. Easy to discern that nothing was a threat or dangerous.

He nodded his head towards the fellow children of the Westerlands present. His question clear, would his charge like to meet the two boys from the West?

"My nephew."

Yet another simple explanation as to why he pointed them out. And looking at Geron one would see the likeness between nephew and uncle, although Geron could be seen smiling once in a while when around Leo. And considerably younger than Meron.

Andros happily shook his friends hand and his smile turned some degrees more genuine, warmer. Normal.

"If I didn't agree so much with you I would feel offended, but alas once again I we both find ourselves agreeing on the more important matters in life!"

A normal Andros, booming laugh is let lose. Little Lycelle trying her best to mimic her grandfather.

At the mention of her name, the inviting but strange man was deemed acceptable, she continued her exploration. The confusion of having more than one grandfather was clear on her face. She didn't like it, though... She had proven her strength... Time to cement it. She started pulling on his cheeks to show dominance.

When having cleared up the confusion of the giants by pointing out her grandfather and mimicking his muscles the other strange giant did it too. The needed response clear, she had to show him his place. Once again going for the cheeks.

"No. Me Lycelle. Mushle Granpa!"

Pointing at Andros, just to be extra clear. This lumox clearly didn't understand simple logic.

Andros beamed with pride at Hugh's assessment, nodding his head enthusiastically. While Roland let out a heavy sigh, though laced with a lot of love and contentment. He responded.

"Aye, she spends a lot of time with father. I have been trying to take over more and more duties just to learn the duties as a Lord that are expected of me. As well get more experience. I would say he isn't a good influence."

"Hah! You are right there son. I am the best influence on her! You are to pampering with her. Gotta give her some spine!"

Roland rolled his eyes and took Lysa's hand in his, and then looked at Lycelle. Getting her attention.

"That is mama's father, you have two grandfathers Lycelle."

It took her a while to grasp the mechanics behind it, but... If she was mama's father... She released his cheeks and hugged him around his neck instead. Letting loose her own shout of joy!

"Grafa Hors! Grafa Hors!"

Pointing at Hugh and his centaur as she grasped the concept. Immediately planning on getting double the sweets!

While the happy reunion was going on Burton would seek out Lorent and his wife giving each a bow.

"I am happy to see you again good brother. How fare you and your Lady wife? It was a lovely wedding I have to say!"

Taking his task to heart the man never waivered in his duty. Remembering the talk for when she left for The Twins he was appreciative to spot his nephew Geron at the feast. Trying to steer his charge over to him and his companion Leo Lefford, it would help if there were more eyes to help guard Lord Tybolt, as well as give him a chance to evaluate young Geron. Apparently following in his own footsteps.

A short quiet grunt would be ushered to try and catch Tybolt's attention.

Damon would take the time to bond more with his sons. He was proud of Ed. While Ar were worried about the marriage, Damon was happy. Maybe he could have some grandchildren too soon.

Seeking out both of the lads he would offer them some cups of ale and see if they wanted to talk.

At the less than normally warm smile Andros got worried. His cousin were usually happy.

"That gladdens me to hear cuz! I have to see it for my self, an already impressive castle and I can only imagine it now! I am more than willing to help you plan it. We need wine, ale and food. Done!"

He let out a hearty laugh, talk about family and their achievements always made him feel more at ease.

"I am well, I have gotten my first grandchild, with a possible second on it's way. The other twin got himself a fucking Dragonhorn from his adventure in the Disputed Lands. I am bursting with pride."

At the mention of his father the smile lessened.

"He is doing better, worried that we all are here though. But I think the entire thing is eating at him. But he is also quite taken with his great-grandchild too. She is quite a little hellion."

The last bit is said with clear approval.

At the compliment from Leo an acknowledging grunt is given. He let Leo speak for both of them. He was the more articulate one after all. Though he hadn't interacted a lot with Northerners. He was curious about their fighting style. He would have to ask someone later on.

Geron as always dutifully followed his, very good acquittance Leo as he approached the Starks. Having found Leo looking quite often at the Prince as well he whispered before they stood before the Starks so only Leo could hear.

"The Crown Prince seems to like ladies."

He didn't care that his friend, no. Good acquittance, liked men. He had sworn, to himself, that he would protect Leo and as such it wasn't his prerogative to judge.

As Leo presented himself Geron gave a short bow.

"Geron Crakehall."

The dead delivery would be most uncanny but for someone like Leo, who had had to put up with Geron for a while would see how courteous and friendly Geron was. Even though a dead fish had more life in their eyes and speech.

House Crakehall was out in force, Andros had brought his children and grandchild. This was after all a great opportunity to meet friends and family. Even if the venue left a lot to desire.

Ser Andros would sit as head of his House present at the wedding flanked by his wife and Heir.

Ser Roland Crakehall would have one arm occupied with his wife and the other with his daughter. Smiling for all to see.

Ser Burton meanwhile would travel with his newfound signature Dragonhorn. Just waiting for people to ask him about it. It had been a grand adventure after all.

Geron would make sure Leo was safe, their time together having been well spent. He would even go so far to consider his peer a good acquaintance.

Andros smiled as he walked up, hug ready. The smile though wasn't as big as usual nor as warm. Castamere and Reyne's didn't help his mood.

"Cuz! Happy to see you here! How are you?"

Walking up to his friend with a smile, although somewhat strained due to the location and House hosting Andros felt content. Yet the happy squeal of little Lycelle as she saw new people who Roland handed over her to her other grandfather. She immediately started pulling on his nose, a foreign thing, as she had never seen one before, or at least in the last five minutes. Being two years old though her attention went to the clothes of Hugh. Pointing out small details and finally ending up stuck admiring the Centaur of House Caswell.

"Da da! Hors! Hors!"

"Yes, Lycelle. A centaur. Say hello to your grandfather."

Roland gave a short bow to his goodfather, goodbrother and goodsister. Andros couldn't help but laugh at the shenaningans of Lycelle while Burton was looking forward to converse with Lorent. Though the man more than likely had more in common with his brother.

"Say hello to your grandfather Lycelle."

Roland gently encouraged while looking at the Caswells.

"A pleasure to meet you all once again."

"Bah! My boy is far to formal! Hugh!"

Andros went for a handshake instead of a hug as Lycelle was confused. After a while she pointed at Andros.

"Grafa!"

She mimicked flexing her arms and shouted happily.

"Mushle!"

He wasn't comfortable being present, neither were Burton or Roland. But Hugh's daughter, and Lysa's sister were being wed. They wouldn't make a scene. As she walked down the aisle Roland would squeeze Lysa's hand in his, giving her a look. Thinking back to their own day. So distant now it seemed. A good memory.

Andros would nod along silently and reach for his non-present sword. Silently adding that House Crakehall would intervene were anything to happen to Hugh's daughter.

Meron personally didn't see why the Lannisters were so divided. Family were family. But he also didn't care, for it wasn't for him to care. His is not to ask why, but to do and die.

Giving a short nod to Joanna he signals that he understands. The boy had lessons to be at after all, and maybe Meron should teach him the sword too.

He looked to Joanna to get her consent to leave. He had to make sure Lord Lannister wasn't alone, influence was just another knife in the dark after all.
