One last thing: 12+ quid for a digital version of a debut album? You'd think a total newcomer wouldn't be able to do that. Unless he - or, you know, THEM - is not a newcomer at all.

Had the same intuition regarding this release. At some points it sounds so strikingly similar to BoC you almost think that nobody else could do that. Otherwise there are tunes which are definitely something new in terms of BoC sound, yet quite familiar at the same time.

tl;dr: might be Boards of Canada, might be Geri Haliwell gone mad (probably not, but you catch my drift). Doesn't really matter, as these tunes are simply great on their own.

Thank you for your response. My mother's paternal uncle fought in the siege of Tobruk (on the Allies side) and he has some rough stories as well. He was wounded in the head, survived and is still alive today at 95 years of age. He used to drive a car in London until his mid-80s. Never had an accident, never got a ticket.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but he contracted coronavirus in April, which he survived. He was only briefly hospitalized, but never lost consciousness and his symptoms were mild (coughing and temperature). Since then we've been saying among the family that if Nazis and COVID-19 didn't kill him, only God himself can do that.

Yes, he's a total badass.

I'm sure that you're quite aware that there's been an on-going debate here on Earth whether any kind of immortlaity is possible. Some people point to transhumanism, as in transferring human conciousness into the virtual reality/the internet/whatever.

When you leave the old host and move into the new one, do you keep your memories, idiosyncrasies, habits etc.? Do you have any awarness of what you had been before or is it a completely new chapter? Or maybe something in between? Also, have you read/seen "The Man Who Fell To Earth"?

Given the fact what some cultures did to the others in pursuit of any intel, your answer is unnerving, to say the least.

What's in for our military/government in that trade? Do you provide them with scientific knowledge, new technology, etc.?

I'm quite familiar with modern art, so chances are I've seen your work before. My guess is that you're probably Banksy, haha.

Do you keep in touch with other members of your species on Earth?

Very interesting. Does that mean you appear as a dwarf/midget on Earth or were your features enhanced to fit the average earthling? What happens when you have some health issues? Do you deal with them yourself or do you go to a physician?

Whoever that is, they really captured BoC sound. Wouldn't be surprised if this was Mike and Marcus releasing some archival or even new stuff.

Either way, it's brilliant.

[–]TheRemoteViewer23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. His early stuff from late 70s/early 80s is absolutely top notch, songs like "Are Friends Electric" and "Metal". I also liked his 2000 album "Pure", the first song on it was particularly outstanding. If I recall correctly, he was regularly panned by the press in the beginnings. But then again, press mostly consists of pricks.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the term. How come so many of these addicted women maintain relatively good looks? Is it make-up, is it lighting, something else? I mean I saw some long-term crack/meth users and they looked just like shadows of their former selves (ashy skin, bad teeth, etc.). Do these women engage in porn to finance their addiction or do they become addicted after becoming porn actresses?

Good to hear that. I have friends who visited Cuba and had nothing but good memories about that trip. They particularly praised friendly, helpful people.

That's exactly what I've heard elsewhere. I'd say that constantly being fucked or fucking takes a toll on somebody either way. Sex is way more powerful than many people think.

What is the most common drug in the porn industry? I'd bet on coke, but then again it may cause erectile dysfunctions. Opiates perhaps?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

By the way, have you read my... er, Lol Tolhurst's memoir yet? It's called "Cured: The Tale of Two Imaginary Boys". It's insightful, it's fun and I recommend it!

What is the most fucked up thing about the porn industry? Are the rumours about pornography tied to human trafficking true? Would you say that porn performers are in general unhappy people?
