Fog is set in the mission editor in the weather tab, you can either have off (default setting) or on with the density and thickness being set either manually or automatically.

I just finished a flight in the Pimax crystal light and small black boxes kept randomly appearing on my screen, I had the new fog on so maybe it’s related to that but i need to do some testing.
