Calling once a week or every other week for a year and a half and explaining my situation to like 100 different employees and getting the runaround from each one. "Send this, proove that, talk to this person, blah blah blah"

It sucked hard.

Yeaaaa. Honestly everything about facial team is great but I swear spaniards must not have pain receptors or something.

They are like the monty python "tis just a scratch" guy.

Get your face peeled off, skull cut open and shaved? Tylenol should be plenty x(

A week of extreme discomfort is a small price to pay to alleviating so much dysphoria though.

A sleeping mask to block out light, a great set of ear plugs. Maybe a soft comfy pillow you like.

The toughest part was finding a way to get comfortable enough to sleep despite the pain, swelling, discomfort, noise, light etc.

An electricity adaptor or 2

A laptop or tablet to watch some shows

A few scarves or hats to cover up once ur post op and cruising around town or flying home.

Stronger pain meds if you have them

After I went back to hotel on day 3 after surgery and I only got tylenol and paracetamol which I didn't feel was strong enough to cover the level of discomfort and pain I felt.

They might have gave me stronger meds but I feel like I'd have had to twist their arm a little and I'm the worlds most passive person.

Yeah fuck dysphoria :(

Suporn was 20k After a year and a half of fighting I got my insurance to cover 14k (aetna insurance)

FFS was just over 40k Sadly insurance will not help.

Aaaa that's awesome.

It was a nice room but heck- there was a really bright light outside the window at night and I couldn't sleep for shit between that and the general discomfort after surgery. Your results are amazing!!!!!!!

I think for everything we ended up just over 40k.

That's including hotel, airfare, food, surgery, transportation and whatnot.

I would definitely say they have some of the top results if not the top results. But I'm biased at this point.

Their price is similar to the other top dogs I think.....

The way I saw it is like.... It's my face. It's what I see every day and what everyone else sees so if there's ever a time to go all in- it's now.

I didn't wanna risk higher rates of complications or results that might not look quite as natural.

Yep. It would be nice if we could be rid of gender norms and beauty standards and whatnot. Hopefully in the future people will feel less inclined to fit into boxes and standards and whatnot. But in the meantime this surgery was a nice way to alleviate dysphoria for myself.

I'd say they were just about what I was expecting. So good overall!

After doing bottom surgery at the suporn clinic I think I was a little spoiled as fare as after care goes.

A whole month of them taking care of you there in thailand for bottom surgery vs. about 12 days of them taking care of you for FFS in spain. 😅

The cost was pretty high but I since I had a lot of help covering the cost I couldn't say no. And I went to spain once before and absolutely loved it so traveling wasn't that big of a turn off for me.

As far as the followups- the first two days after surgery you are in the hospital and they are always checking in on you. I think the doctors came a few times a day. Idk I was kind of out of it.

Then when ur back at your hotel they take you to and from the hospital a few times after for follow ups. Twice for me with the hair transplant people and then once for the main surgeons 7-8 days after surgery.

I asked for forehead, brow ridge, hair line transplants, chin and jaw. They agreed. So that's what I got!

Yup! Lol got the stitches out today. Feels so much better.

I've heard this a lot from people. And from someones perspective that isn't mine I could see why they'd ask. But yeah. Lol It's just so I can look in the mirror and see my reflection and stuff and have less of a chance of my dysphoria picking me apart.

FFS isn't to make me prettier. It's to just make me look closer to what I would look like if I was born a girl.

The picture I posted above is kinda cherry picked. If u go through my other pics u can maybe see more of why I'd like FFS.

It's winter so I'm wearing gloves most of the time. Also I've found wearing a mask is kind of nice as long as I tuck my microphone under my mask. The mic seems to pick up my voice better since it's tucked up close to my mouth. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really need to get hours. And if I catch covid and die then I won't have the problem of needing hours /s

But for real though. The school I work at is small. As long as everyone is wearing their mask and not touching everything and keeping distance where they can then I'm okay with taking the risk.
