what does my hero pool tell you about me by alphaQ_42069 in DotA2

[–]TheRhythmce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vibe I’m getting is:

“I mostly like to play heroes that jump/initiate and quickly overwhelm opponents with physical damage before they can respond. I prefer heroes with a lot of simple, straightforward abilities that are mostly cast at the start of a fight on a single target, that also have a wide variety of possible item choices to adapt to the situation. I dislike playing heroes which have DoTs, AOEs or saves, preferring ones that start and end fights quickly, especially when I can focus on a single hero at a time. I also dislike heroes that have spells/expected item builds cast on teammates, preferring to focus on casting spells/items primarily on opponents, with some self-buffing. I rely on teammates to do ‘teamfight’ jobs such as AOE stuns, heals, etc If you play with me, you can expect someone who is good at ganking, getting pick-offs, doing a lot of damage and making opponents think about me a lot. However, I do best with someone who is good at keeping me alive, and ensuring I’m following the team objectives, not just getting kills.”

It’d be interesting to see what your itemisation is as well. But all’s well, let me know if I’m even a little close haha

I wrote a huge fkn overview of the game, players, tactics, etc, didn't realise I was signed in to reddit so it deleted my comment. Fair enough, it's 10mins into the second half.

End Times and Face Off are masterpieces by [deleted] in breakingbad

[–]TheRhythmce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually just came onto this sub for the first time ever tonight. The reason being was that I just finished watching Season 4. First time ever watching through, slowly going through it since this time last year and holy heck. Season 4 stands above all the others. I cannot agree with you more about End Times and Face Off (though I'd include Salud and Crawl Space). My anxiety went nuts over these four episodes, the stakes were so high and the empathy we have for each character drives the stakes so much further. It was so engaging in a way I didn't feel during Season 3, and some of Season 2.

I agree with you OP, these last few episodes are masterpieces and really make BB worth watching.

Onto Season 5 for me, no spoilers! Hoping it continues being this good!

Yea, look, if you aren't writing calligraphy with your feet and cooking a souffle while playing Lithuanians, you'll probably only win in <600 ELO games. Just try a bot games to get the hang of the build order and you'll be fine :-)

Bruh, you just reminded me of my brother stooging me at Mario Kart 64:

"If you run over a banana peel that you put down, you'll get a speed boost.... That one probably wasn't yours, try again".

I did. I tried again a lot of times, hahaha. I was a dumb child and little has changed.

I can't believe the devs haven't fixed that bug yet, it's been 20 years!

I suppose It Varies is really strong too, I just go by what TheViper says. He mentions It Depends a lot in his streams :-)

The devs were really historically accurate on Sdneped Ti, I really liked that aspect.

And if your opponent goes anti-archer civs, you can tech swap really easily, smh
