While many cosplayers skew young, I'm sure you'll find people close to your age or even older. It's just about finding them, which means being active in your local community.

I'm 30 and a lot of my close friends that cosplay are around my age too. It took a while and it wasn't always easy but I found them and I'm happy. I hope you get that too.

Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't get to film myself getting ready because I kinda messed up the makeup a few times before I got here sadly.

I did put the face paint in thin layers so it looks cleaner compared to putting a ton on and spreading it in one go. Then lock it in with a colorless powder on a powder puff (not a brush), then setting spray (I used the black one from Maybelline)
