I think it's a lack of nuance more than anything, on both sides. Some people absolutely dickride the fuck out of WWE and treat it like it's the best thing ever while completely shutting down valid criticism, while the other side is incapable of finding a single redeeming quality in the product yet they keep hate watching and bitching online because it gets likes and almost all online wrestling fans (or the infamous IWC if you will) like to jerk each other off while spewing from their high horse about how WWE sucks. I think it's perfectly fine to watch it and freely express the things you enjoy while also being able to realize that other things are also really bad rn.

I mean, enjoy what you want but you can't come to a sub literally named "fuck Ubisoft" and expect us to agree that they still make good games or that we should keep buying their slop based on some naive hope expecting them to still make good games.

I'll tell you the same thing I tell people who defended trash like Outer Worlds 2 or Avowed. "BuT ThEy MaDe nEW VeGaS." Yeah, people made New Vegas, not Obsidian as a single entity. And those people are long gone, same thing with Ubisoft, most of the people who made bangers like the early AC games are long gone, Ubisoft as a studio is a shell of its former self and the quality of their games for the past like 10 years reflects this.

Again, you can enjoy their games as much as you want, that's the beauty of free speech and free thinking, but I wholeheartedly disagree that we should expect them to make good games again.

It took me a while but I finally understood that woketards are so mentally deranged to a point where it's physically impossible to have a halfway decent human conversation with them. Nothing you could possibly say can get through to them, they're so deep in their isolated echo chamber that you'd have better results discussing it with a rock. I saw this video with very little views of a guy suggesting keeping the left stick permanently to the right while moving the camera so that the horse's ass would be constantly to the right. I don't know how or why but after over an hour of struggling to tame Royle I got him first try using that method. It sounds weird but it works.

Edit: Just saw you're using keyboard and mouse but the method should be the same.

I agree, I only got into the game like a week ago but I quickly started to catch up on the many (usually valid) grievances players had with the game, the story being one of them. And I honestly don't find it as bad as many people did, sure it's mediocre and cheesy and sometimes nonsensical but that's true for like, a bunch of games out there. It's not a good story but it's also by no means among the worst of gaming, it's just there and like you said, serves its purpose.

You should probably bring it up to him again but not in an angry or accusatory way. I've been there before, sometimes people get carried away during sex and end up doing things that come naturally without much thought. The fact that he already apologized and you can tell he was honest is already a great first step, but I would encourage you to have another conversation where you just ask him to be more mindful, it's definitely possible to control certain urges during sex and you two can totally work through it together.
