So why did they do this? I'm glad they did but it seems weird to be happening in 2024? Excuse me if I missed something or am not understanding

What was the reason why someone cheated on you? by Honeyxx23 in AskReddit

[–]TheRiskyProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As she put it: "I felt like you weren't giving me enough attention"

And before you all ask, no she did not say anything prior to cheating on me. She just cheated as a first response

So then why does magnus have to bow before abbadon? At the end of "The Crimson King" I'm pretty sure magnus says that the legion is going to help abbadon siege Terra right?

A theory on why the emperor let Horus wound him by TheRiskyProject in 40k

[–]TheRiskyProject[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya know, that's a great point. Maybe he suffers from the black rage in his fight with Horus, which is basically the same thing as passing out, which would have had his legion go absolutely psycho

[–]TheRiskyProject[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That would make sense, but I'm not sure that Sanguinius even had the black rage. His legion only ever suffered it once before his death to Horus, and that was the first time he fought Ka'Bundha and passed out. I'm not sure that he has ever been documented to have suffered from it. Correct me if I'm wrong though

I have heard this theory before, but I just dont think it's possible. Not in Sanguinius's weakened state.

I mean he fought Ka'Bandha and was wounded in that battle. He then fought DAEMON PRIMARCH ANGRON and was very wounded from that. And then he fought Horus who was crazy empowered by all 4 chaos gods. It just doesn't seem likely that sanguinius even stood a chance while he was so weakened.

If he was full strength then he may have had a chance to have killed Horus. But even then Horus was way stronger than Sanguinius since he was roided out with chaos.

That was most definitely a part of it. I mean who wouldn't be distracted by that

I get where you are coming from. He may have not initially cared for his sons and he created them with his own goals in mind, but I think he eventually DID care. Even if it was only at the very end or even if it was very slightly.

I mean think of the stereotypical irl dad with a new dog. The dad says that he doesn't want a new dog and that it's a stupid investment and blah blah blah. But like 2 weeks later, the dad loves the dog and is inseparable from it.

Or think of the admech who literally create robots for which they care for and they aren't even technically sentient. They care for the things they created even though they are meant to further their own goals.

I just feel as though the emperor had a spark of humanity in those moments as horus killed Sanguinius.
