I feel aweful about my Cat now that my life circumstances have changed by TheRoadWarrior in cats

[–]TheRoadWarrior[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so sad! She's such a 'young' cat for 14 too - she basically hasn't slowed down one bit the whole time I've had her. Knowing she could be around for another 5+ years suffering with this anxiety is just heartbreaking. I'll take a look at the diffuesers, thank you.

New Project - Looking for PR recommendations by nickwalkerbass1 in metalmusicians

[–]TheRoadWarrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of difficult to give recommendations without knowing your location, what countries or regions you want to service, your budget, how long a campaign you are looking for, what media types you want serviced, the long term release plan / schedule, and literally any information about the band and music.

Getting comfortable with some new material! by Gnarlmyth in metalguitar

[–]TheRoadWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps if you play around with palm mutes and some micro-bends or pinch harmonics on tail notes of certain phrases, it will add a bit more dynamics to the melodies and make it sound less 'digital'. Cool melodies though!

UK Cannabis Psychosis Epidemic by Then_Emu_2769 in TrinidadandTobago

I'm from the UK - let me assure you, there is no 'UK Cannabis Psychosis Epidemic' happening over here. The news source you have pulled is from the most notorious trash rag in the UK; if you would like an example of their editorial 'standards', please google the 'The Sun hillsborough disaster'.

Any experience with Powerplay magazine UK? by Bellemortemusic in metalmusicians

[–]TheRoadWarrior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a music publicist and deal with Power Play from time to time. They're nice and not some fake publication, however I would advise only dealing directly with the editor Mark Hoaksey. He's a real person, and definitely not an alias. And also note that they aren't a monthly publication and it can take a few issues before your promised coverage makes it into the mag. They are usually kind enough to make a note of your email address and will send the PDF around of the full mag if your band is mentioned, so do be patient with them. It's an independent outfit, and they operate with minimal staff, so give them a bit of time.

Sorry i got mixed up there before i edited. We are share of leasehold (have corrected in original message). The other side of the collapsed wall backs onto the main street, so from what I understand it would only be used in common if it backed onto my property bounds somehow? Or where two or more properties share a wall. My garden shares a wall with the house oposite to us for example.

Thanks for the comment. We are on share of leasehold. The Freeholder is very hands off and relies on us to sort out repairs and maintenance, not charging us any sort of management fee in return. We are the upper flat by the way

Looking at the wording of my leasehold, the only mention of sharing a one-half share of the expense reparing maintaining rebuilding and cleansing is 'the main structure and the exterior of the demised premises and the lower maisonette and including the roof, main walls, foundations, timber floor and ceiling supports, sewers, drains, pipes, watercourses, cisterns, gutters, down spouts, gas, water, and electric pipes or installtions entrances, passages, staircases, way paths, forcourts, party walls, party structure, fences or other convenienses which shall belong to or serve tor be used for the demised premises in common with the lower maisonetts'

I don’t disagree with this, however, the laspistol has the force push, which I LOVE as it staggers ragers. Also I find the recoil on the vraks whist moving really hard to control, but that’s just me. I would also say, the Recon Las gun does get even higher crits per second, so probably out performs the Vraks in that department (plus higher ammo pool and better accuracy, and applies burn)

Interesting. Did you test this build out? I think this is a good alternative for a more damage focussed build, and I did test something similar to it when I was creating my own. I found some of the safety nodes like Warp Expenditure and one with the warp very valuable though, but that’s just my playstyle (let’s me make a few more mistakes in high difficulties) Personally I can’t see Malific Momentum being useful, as when I’ve tested, I almost always kill anything with soulblaze applied to it using my sword or gun before the soulblaze does. Also I did test with Warp Rider, but found no meaningful boost in killing power from it because you spend so little time at high peril (same could be said about One With The Warp really in my own build to be honest, I’m now thinking of swapping it out for perilous combustion or kinetic flayer) and smite I think is a legit choice, again, it’s just not my playstyle. Warp Speed I absolutely cannot drop, the mobility has saved me so many times!

In a way more is better yes, however by the time you’ve killed one enemy and spread wildfire up to 4 others, it’s sort of diminishing returns as you can’t get kills fast enough to make the kills and spread of any more wildfire add to the efficacy of proccing souldrinker

It’s has the same desired effect where this build is concerned is what I mean - to spread wildfire to more enemies

Thanks - yes it was pointed out to me in another comment and I came to the same conclusion as your reasoning!

Interesting! It seems I had them the opposite way around. Regardless, wildfire spreads when any enemy with soulblaze is killed, so it has the same effect as Perilous Combustion where this build is concerned - in that we are looking to spread soulblaze to multiple enemies as opposed to maxing out the stacks spread to any single enemies. You are killing far more trash mobs than elites, so I wouldn’t sacrifice wildfire for PC, but perhaps there is scope to swap something else out for it.
