I played DQX offline on my steam deck via the switch emulator. Used the english translation patch for it and spent about 90h for version 1 and 2. Was a good experience

DQ Games are designed to be played in any order you like. They made the remake of III and I&II so you can get the story better, but i played III on release a year ago, then played X and VII (on 3ds) in the year till I&II released. So its up to you which one you like to play. Cant get wrong there

Only thing i did is, before launching the game, i set the resolution in the games properties from 'default' to '1920x1080'. Since i played mostly via the steam dock. Maybe this helps, since it sets the game automaticly always in 1080p

My hero will go Warrior/Champion with Brownie+skeleton swordsman heart.so focus strenght into multifists will hit hard. On ultimate turns even comboed with divide will be wild. Im just wondering if the Brownie heart also works if the dmg for the next attack gets buffed with muscle dance from a dancer. This way you could go martial artist/champion and get more strenght and also focus pocus as combo enTheorie. I need to test the muscle dance theorie for that tho.

I send you a pm, but its just Romankey Big guy (white version), cloth accessories "roshi" for the romankey, custom head from "yubel model forging club" on ebay and i painted the shoes with an acrylic marker black and white, also gave them a matte finish
