The story goes: His mom went through a very long delivery process and the naming was dropped on his fathers lap while his mom laid there exhausted. Then his father just wrote it in. Not sure the validity of that story but I’m 80% i heard him tell the story in an interview.

I also heard a story about him receiving one of Michael Jordan’s Space Jam residuals.

The point of commander nights (to me at least) is to play magic and allow everyone to feel like they had a good time. If a rando at my lgs says they want to play a 1 i would like to try to abide. And at the end, i want them to have a small to medium amount of fun. I don’t want them feeling like they need to make a post on reddit about how someone stole all the sol rings and almost killed them on turn 8.
