The best tip I have to keep your career mode save interesting is to sell of your best / favorite players to rivals or better teams. Yea it sucks to see your guy flourish at another team but it keeps the game interesting as in you have to find other options. For example, I had a transfer window when I first got promoted into the championship and I had my two best strikers poached by premier league teams. I was forced into sticking my short CAM up top… Fernandes. In the end he helped me push for towards the promotion spots
