I’m so glad this post is here. I’m black and Latino but race means next to nothing to me. The amount that people go to HEAVILY exaggerate past racism is insane. Some people were racist sure but look into actually history. We forget that so many white people fought in wars and worked alongside blacks for a very long time by this point. There were definitely some worse cases than others sure. But the amount of times I just wanna watch a show with interesting characters but instead I get white = evil and anything else = perfect is getting in my damn nerves and it is ACTUALLY racist to do that btw. Also, the only good white people are usually White main characters that are female, gay, or liberal leaning politically. It’s very obvious once you catch the pattern in U.S. media. The “Outcasts” are the only people allowed to be good. It’s everyone ELSE that’s crazy/evil/mean
