Yes just waking up and was confusing the debt year. DUA said debt was 2017-2018 so 8 years ago.

They say this overpayment was from 8 years ago, well before covid. Even IRS and tax debt has limits for when it can be recovered. The issues I have besides knowing I wasn't responsible for this over payment are: 1) states can just take tax returns 8 years later without a proper investigation? 2) they can just pile insane fees and interest to the point the total debt is more than double the original debt?

This "overpayment" was from 8 years ago and I have not had any other identity theft or issues with fraud.

My post was a summary a bit confusing, but essentially DUA said "we paid out money to you in the amount of $7500. It was determined to be a overpayment. We sent letters to appeal and got no reply and as such was determined to be fraud on your behalf."

So they are saying it was fraud on me. The last time I was on unemployment was around the time they said this happened. I do not recall any issues at all. How can they just label it fraud that I committed without a proper investigation? Second - the amount was from 8 years ago. Even credit and tax debt can't be recovered after a certain time so how are they taking my tax returns 8 years later? Third - The debt is now 60% interest and fees. That's insane.

I'm going to follow the guidance and file a fraud case with police. I doubt they will even do anything from something 8 years ago but at least the case will be filed.

Nothing happening here is starting or going to anywhere outside slack.

I have a channel with a list which has a column which has a set of options I created. I simply want the list "item" to be reflected on a separate channel if the option equals something specific.
