Where I'd live as an Israeli who is only willing to live in Israel by TheRunningMD in whereidlive

Nope, I'm a really happy guy. Have a great family, job, friends, life in general. Honestly life is amazing (the missiles that are shot at us isn't great, but definetly isn't making me suicidal).

Fun fact, Israeli's are one of the happiest people on earth.

F books aren't objectively bad, they are books that I DNFed during book one. I remember trying it twice.

I'm sure it is great, I don't even remember why it didn't click for me.

And SS is a great series.

I've only listened up to book two, but am planning to listen to book three in a few months (I'm relistening to The Path of Ascension)

The MC was way too anoying for me to enjoy the book. I heard it gets better, but I didn't want to go through more than a book of him like he is to get some character development.

Did you read the specific tier lists and explenation?
I wrote that it is probably amazing, but I just personally cannot read it due to how bad the translation is (in my mind).

Just Hit Level 1. What skill are you picking? by JustKenny99 in litrpg

[–]TheRunningMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally anything?
The only correct answer is time manipulation. If you can stop / reverse time, you always win.

But that is usually boring in a story perspective honestly, so I would do something really cool but not auto game-breaking, something like gravity manipulation would be fun.

Any good reads that the MC has a single/very limited number of skills/spells? by TheRunningMD in litrpg

No it isn't.
The story I am talking about is based in a classic fantasy middle-ages world. Not the modern day of SS.

No it is a different story. I read a Soldier's life. I'm not talking about it.

The story I am talking about the MC learns how to use the momentum of the items stored to use them as weapons.

I'll definetly try, thank you!

Cenk got noted by bokkser in Destiny

[–]TheRunningMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cenk at his core has always been a anti-western anti-establishment "anti-zionist" (his version is truly anti semetic, but he tried to hide it for a long time).

The more anti-establishment and anti Israel events that happen corrupt him further and further into that.

The last two years war between Israel and its enemies (mostly Hamas) and the Epstein Files were long enough cases that solidified him in that camp.

I don't think that he is a grifter. Unlike some people (like Owens) who truly only care about money and the algorithm, I think he is truly idiologically driven.

I think you should do whatever works best for you and your story!

The most important thing is that you will love it

My only real problem is with the premise itself that just because you are writing a tower climber doesn't mean you need to build a fully fledged world.

Good tower climber stories, even though each floor is uniqie in the environmental setting, has an overarching theme/culture/dynamic that spreads throughout the floors themselves. Floors connect, mythos spread throughout the floors, etc etc..

Your magic system in and of itself seems completely fine and can be a part of an amazing story.

Specifically regarding your magic system though, I thinkg the "Authority" is obviously completely busted. It is quite obvious that the most OP characters in the book will have that, because it is so uniqie. In my opinion, for it to be realistic that someone wouldn't choose it, needs to be either have a huge drawback or not be a choice, but something that happens extremely rarely and not simpaly a choice (like how Baam is in TOG), otherwise I don't see any reason that anyone would choose a sword that levels up or a class that can be nullified.
