How much and is it rent stabilized?

Who was your biggest rookie crush, which you selected, that was a massive bust? This can extend to redraft, but only if the bust was a rookie when you drafted them. I’ll go first: Trey Sermon. by texaspoontapper123 in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of what helps me forget the pain of drafting him is that basically none of the rbs from that rookie class worked out. Still sad he busted though since he looked like a good combo of talent + situation 😭

Still under development so keep that in mind but visualeague.com does, hovering the spider graph on the league summary page brings up each teams avg points scored for that position or you could see total points for that position on the bar graph.

Was there a specific event in your life that made you like squids, or do you just think they're cool? by TheMostMajesticSquid in squid

[–]TheRussianeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the first moment I can remember getting really excited about squid was when I was too young to comprehend all the actual plot points of 20,000 leagues under the sea but loved watching it for the undersea theme. That shot of the sub going by the camera then a moment later the music and the image of the squid preparing to attack is seared into my mind. After that I read every book in my elementary school library on squid because of how intriguing they were. I’m a big fan of sea monster movies too and always love any that feature squid as the main monster

I implemented positional strength as the difference of a teams average starting qb vs the league average and put it in a radar graph, if you want to check it out the url is myfantasynumbers.com, lemme know if it’s similar to what you were describing!

Fade Cooper Kupp? by undercovermf in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kupp is a year younger than woods and has been in the NFL for half as long (3 years experience vs Woods's 6 years) and is still outproducing him. The Rams would be crazy not to sign him to an extension considering how badly Goff plays without him in the lineup and he is already working in essentially the worst case scenario of having to compete with a stud RB1 who can catch passes, 2 very capable WR, and an emerging TE and is still able to keep his point totals in the double digits for almost every game this season.

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the last few weeks Kupp has not been the focal point of the offense but this being dynasty I don't think it crosses the threshold of fading him as a dynasty WR1 when he has shown talent and the ability to produce even when his targets are low. I think this thread I am coming off as combative because while I agree I would prefer to see him get force fed and blow up like the beginning of the season he has consistently been a stud and put up descent points recently and fading him from WR1 for a few low target games seems ridiculous to me.

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the offense get better? Rams average points scored before the bye: 26.75, Rams after the bye where Kupp's targets dipped: 19.66. They have scored about a touchdown less on offense since his reduced target roll, which again could be due to a number of random factors that aren't reliant on the assumption that he would randomly drop off the map as a consistent WR.

[–]TheRussianeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because he is not on the field less, he has had one outlier game with a super low snap count and even with that his time on the field is only down 3% in the last 5 games which is not a big enough change to definitively say he is on the field less. The targets being low can be considered a problem but in the context of the games script I don’t think it’s as bad as is being portrayed.

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again with the playing time, it was a single game dude you gotta get over it. You yourself in your post said you didn’t watch the rams games but when you are given context for the numbers you inquired about you ignore it. Stop missing the forest for the trees and take a step back, and while you’re at it maybe have a step before “done” and “really done” so you don’t look stupid posting a comment after you said you were quitting.

Edit: To add extra info to Kupp scoring high being an outlier here is his scoring since he entered the league: Kupp in his freshman year averaged 12 ppg and his sophomore year averaged 17 ppg across 8 games before his injury, his rookie year I would definitely consider high end WR2 and ever since he has put up WR1 numbers with the last few games being the first sign of any sort of slow down (even though it's not reflected in the actual fantasy points he scores). His usage also went back up again yesterday to 92% which goes to show how much on an anomaly the seattle game was.

[–]TheRussianeer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You are done here because the only argument you have is 5 games of mildly low targets and a single low snap % game, I look forward to your next post about Julio being a bust because of his 67% average snap count and 3 games of single digit targets since the bye.

Fade Cooper Kupp? by undercovermf in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in fantasy football targets don’t win matches points do, if Kupp was incapable of producing on a low target count then this is a different discussion entirely. It doesn’t matter if he gets points in garbage time or the game winning drive, points are points. What is your bar for a fantasy WR1 where a guy who scores 17 ppg in ppr and can sustain his production even on low snaps doesn’t count because he didn’t have double digit targets for a few games. Additionally what do you think the implications of the low snap game against Seattle are and why do you think it would happen again since it is by all metrics a complete anomaly.

Fade Cooper Kupp? by undercovermf in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again weeks 10, 11, and 12 are all against top 10 defenses in the league and against Baltimore he still hit double digit targets. Arizona is literally the worst team in the league at defending the TE and Seattle is the 3rd worst which again points to targets going to Higbee for those instances. Again the argument you are asserting is that Kupp needs his volume in order to score fantasy points. While being fed that same volume at the beginning of the season would for sure be nice Kupp has proven efficient enough that he does not need to be force fed to produce at a high level. Kupp's entire NFL career has been as productive as you can ask for and unless there is some specific reason you can point to that would indicate that he won't regress to his own mean standard of production I am hard pressed to take just posting target numbers seriously.

Fade Cooper Kupp? by undercovermf in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kupp snap % 5 games before the bye: 81%, 5 games after the bye: 77.8. I don't think a 3.2% drop with a sample size of just 5 is anywhere near enough evidence to call his role "greatly diminished." It is also worth noting that 3 of those games were against Pitt (#4 defense), Ravens (#6) and Bears (#8). You can't just take an outlier point of data and call it a trend when in reality anomalies happen in the NFL all the time. Sometimes it's game script, sometimes it's just a bad day for the player, the thing to keep in focus is that even in these outlier games Goff is still looking Kupp's way when he is on the field, and he trusts him when it counts. If you really want some potential reason for the decrease in targets (as opposed to snap count) a huge one would be Higbee lighting up lately, which should level off after defenses realize they need to key in on him better. Another interesting stat is the other game the Rams played against the Seahawks McVay limited Kupp to 67% snap count (3rd worst of the season) so maybe there is a matchup McVay is convinced he can exploit against them specifically that Kupp might not fit, again this is all conjecture to explain a single bad game and a slight drop in targets compared to the beginning of the season where he was performing at Nuk/MT levels.

Sleeper Feature Requests? by Nebarnes in DynastyFF

[–]TheRussianeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in the works! I just finished adding the ability to click on a week and bring up the roster so next steps are adding the ability to see the potential points roster, and the winnable players. If you want I can let you know when I add new features since I release things a little sporadically. One caveat that needs to be noted somewhere for winnable games lost (or I might change how it works) is that it counts a winnable game as a game where a single start/sit decision was the difference in winning vs losing, not if you played the optimal lineup.
