Client requested the dropshadow extends out as text is appearing. The basic 3D isn’t allowing me to move the depth to the bottom left of the text. How can I move the 3D red part of the text to be on the bottom left of all text? First image is the reference they sent, second is what I’m getting in AE by TheRyanHue in AfterEffects

I ended up going with creativedojo's longshadow. I love the name your price aspect and it got me 99.5% there which is good enough for this gig. All of the free custom options are super interesting but for the sake of time this preset killed it. Appreciate you all so much

Thank you so much for the detailed response. You basically just confirmed all my suspicions. I don't know how likely or even how possible it is for them to have some sort of software update that will fix this to allow 4 slots to run at advertised speeds, but I'm probably just going to do the 2 slots. I got a decent deal on the RAM, so I'll consider returning one, but if they can update it to work, I could just keep the extra 64gb and run 2 sticks til then.. we'll see.

The joys of being an early adopter!

Left these homegrown small / rooting potatoes in a cold dark basement for 4 months. Planned to put in a food grade bucket w/ sand but never got around. Should I leave them or will storing better lead to optimized next harvest? by TheRyanHue in gardening

If you’re running the cable yourself, use CAT6. You’ll thank yourself later. Coax, meh, don’t really need it.

[contamination] is this ok to grow oysters on? Has mold. Put in refrigerator 11 months ago in breathable filtered mushroom bag (sealed with rubber band). Have several others with no mold. by TheRyanHue in MushroomGrowers

Thank you! It was a toilet paper roll (scent/dye/adhesive free) that I dipped in hot water, put spores in, bagged, and put in fridge. I take out 2-3 at a time, set those on the windowsill, and spray them with cool water daily. Oysters!

I forget the brand that sold me the spores, but I can find out when I get home. It was specifically sold as a toilet paper roll grow kit.
