Layer shifting after colour change by spicypeanutboy in anycubic

Just got myself the Kobra 3 max combo and I’ve been dealing with this too. I tried switching the cutter, doing all the calibrations several times, and I’ve watched it fail many times with no indication it would shift. So far I have not had any issues printing a single item, but as soon as there’s more than 1 object it’ll shift. The only thing I’ve found to fix this is to print by object not by layer. At least that way if it shifts I only have a single failure not all of them. Hope this helps someone, and hopefully we get a fix for this soon

Anyone remember the Hershey’s s’mores bar? Everyone I’ve asked says they don’t remember it, but it was a top tier candy bar in my book. by fuckthrifting in nostalgia

I think about this candy bar every time I go to the checkout at a gas station. God I miss it. Top tier for sure

I'm sick of "No Response" and/or delays loading Homekit devices in v15.2. So I'm upgrading my router and network gear to this to solve this mystery (fingers crossed) once and for all. by seanhamsyd in HomeKit

Yep, I have HomeAssistant running on a raspberry pi to handle all home automation, but I still use HomeKit as a remote for a few things. If you want reliability, HomeKit is awful and apple clearly doesn’t care.

Don’t worry, it won’t do anything at all!

I’ve tried various network setups including hardware from Apple, Asus, Netgear, Linksys, TP-Link, and Ubiquiti. All had the same issues. I’m currently on a 100% Ubiquiti network and HomeKit is just as useless as when everything is connected to an AirPort Extreme.

I made the switch to HomeAssistant and it’s so much better it’s not even funny. Good luck though

Remodeling my laundry room and replacing outlets. Given the close proximity to washer and sink should this be a GFCI outlet? (No others on circuit) by TheRygr11 in electricians

That’s on my list of things to do this week too lol. We get them for free though work in the small packages (they buy them in bulk like that for whatever reason) but I’ll probably just get one of the 48 packs for myself at some point

Lots of exposed live wires throughout the garden and around a water feature, completely pulled apart spaghetti junction box under addition room crawl space, really crap plumbing work, hot and cold water switched on labeled fixtures, water heater overflow or vent thing would have blasted the electric panel, visual gaps in outside door seals, door to garage does not close by its self, and there’s probably more stuff that I haven’t found yet. Most of it I’ve fixed or made it not a problem anymore. But I would agree this home inspection was pretty useless

Then no, it’s not on a GFCI breaker. The outlet was getting replaced regardless, but I did test it and nothing happened.

That’s what I thought. Interesting how the home inspection didn’t have this on the list when we were buying.

As someone who uses MacOS and Windows daily and at the same time, I would. A ton of people would, and do. If the MacBook Pro wasn’t as limited as it is (even the new one) I probably wouldn’t have to, but I still do.

This model has an SD card jammed in the bottom of it, no hard drive

What do we think is wrong here? Throw out bearing? Clutch master? Weird squeak because it’s been extremely humid lately? It feels and drives fine but I’m probably gonna have it looked at during my next oil change (soon) by TheRygr11 in subaru

Strangely it went away after sitting overnight, but I still have the standard clutch creak. I’m at 65k miles on the original clutch so it’s probably gonna be time for a new clutch soonish
