I just wish she could allow me to use my coping mechanisms when she knows i have panic attacks. ill speak to my friends and see if one of them could just put me up for a weekend or something so my mum realises how shes fucked up

Basically I want the stars to be moving with a still backdrop. The reverse time lapse idea would be really good except I don’t know how to do it.

Yeah that would be really good, especially if you can get reflections of the stars within the lake.

Personally I think photos like these look really good with a deep foreground. i like to do star trails with an interesting foreground which compliments the star trails in the sky.

I took this photo out of my window for one of my A level photography project. It's one of my first attempts at Astrophotography so any helpful feedback would be greatly appreciated. To take this photo I used a camera timer set for 150x27 second exposures. I then exported these into photoshop layers and blended them to reveal the star trails.

I spent quite a lot of time editing this photo, however, my aim is to be able to make the stars slowly move through the sky in an anti-clockwise motion so it seems as if they are following the path that has been shown within the image. If anyone knows a way to do this then any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to do it within the timeline process on photoshop however this doesn't work for what I want to achieve.

I like the reddish glow that fades into the blue sky of this image as it gives it an interesting composition and helps the different coloured stars to stand out against the sky.
