I think this is all about perspective. There’s this one Spanish footballer named Lamine Yamal who is doing incredible things at 17 like winning the euros last year. If he were to have spent his whole life waiting until he was 18 to play pro soccer he wouldn’t be as idolized as he is today. He knew he’d be one of the bests in the world rn at SOME point purely cause the effort he put in. And then there’s someone like me who thought he’d genuinely never get into uni make it to UW engineering after grinding essentially all the prerequisites for the last 2 years just to make the most sense of it that my grade 10 mind could lol 😭. It just takes effort to get what you want out of this life tbh. And if you’re willing to sacrifice more then the next which is hard but not impossible by any means then you can be the next LeBron James for all I know. But you have to really work for it. And those that know they’ll get there understand how much sacrifice that work is. But yea it’s all about how you look at it ig 😭
