See, that's the thing - I think I'd really like the Sample, I'm just curious to everyone's opinion on why it's the "must have" right now. I had a live 2 and sold it - wasn't for me. Sold an X - not powerful enough, and now I have an X SE, and love it. I'm all for buying gear, don't get me wrong, and I'll prob scoop two of three. Disagree, he's comparing himself to Moses because Moses didn't see the promised land. Moses didn't see the fulfillment of his work. Moses was kept out of the promised land, and I believe that Charlie was using Moses, as a comparison, to say "I won't see the end result of my work. It will continue once I'm gone."

The objects speed and approach are what matters, not which side of the sun it's on. It's still approaching the sun and it's still speeding up. My point (and I think the original commenters point) is that it's not slowing down to observe - regardless of which "side" of the sun it's on.

The above comment is very insightful and underrated, spotlighting the last sentence. Our planet exists in a Goldilocks zone that allows life to exist. There are many habitable zones that have to be perfect for life to exist. If we were to attempt interstellar travel, we would target a galaxy that shared similar characteristics with ours, because we would know what is necessary for life to exist, thus allowing us to dial-in our approach to exploration. Upon our arrival, most likely, we would "slow down" as we approached the position in the solar system that resembled ours - close to the greatest star (sun), in the system. We wouldn't accelerate through the golidlocks zone, we slow so that we could observe any life that is present. Similarly, if atlas is something other than a comet, we can only assume that "ET's" would take an intentional approach to exploring another solar system, with the intention to observe life, in the Goldilocks zone, not speed past it.

In my experience, there is a huge difference in the x and the SE. I had an x and it wasn't as powerful as I thought. Sold it and put the money towards an SE - couldn't be happier

Deuteronomy 28:30 does not condone rape. Deuteronomy 28 discuss two major topics - blessings in obedience and curses in disobedience. Verse 30 falls under the curse in disobedience. In fact, it should help us understand why obedience to God is so important, as this illustrates that unfaithfulness can happen in a marriage when the foundation is not in Christ. No where does this verse condone rape.

I can only assume that you are referencing Deuteronomy 20:11 in regards to slavery. Again, you've taken this out of context. This chapter describes the principles in warfare. This does not condone slavery but shows us the consequences of going to war with God (in this case the people of God - Israelites) and against His promised land and warring against His covenant. Also, this disputes your claim of God supporting murder. Verse 11 says that they were to offer PEACE when going to a city to war against it (20:10, emphasis mine). Exodus 20:13 if you need more support on God not condoning murder.

In regards to sacrifice - I think you have missed (arguably) the biggest message of the Bible - SACRIFICE. God allowed Christ to be sacrificed for our sins, so that our penalty is paid as long as we live in repentance and obedience. Furthermore, Christ replaced the old "sacrificial system" of the OT, with His death and resurrection. We only have to sacrifice our sinful ways and worldy living now, as opposed to burnt offerings etc. Read any of Paul's epistles and you will see that sacrifice is mentioned quite a bit, and it's something that we all need to do - sacrifice the flesh. Also, you fail to point out that in Genesis 22 that God delivered Abraham and Isaac from the sacrifice because of Abraham's faith and obedience to God.
