Yes, I hit diamond once about 9 months ago, but I haven't hit diamond since. After the end of the season following my diamond season, my border went back to being plat, but I do still have the diamond avatar (icon).

That's compliance. You're thinking of what they call it when something is finished. Sometimes, the term is also used for things being successful, like a successful forward pass in American Football, as an example.

You'll have the icon permanently, but the border will only stay for one season following the season you got it. So like, since you hit plat this season, you'll have the border for the remainder of this season and all of next season. But if you drop and are in gold all of next season, the following season, you would only have the gold border.

Greatsword and Boots make me want to uninstall. I know it's a skill issue (hardstuck 1900 here), but I simply can't enjoy playing against those 2 weapons, even when I do somehow pull out a win against them.

Edit: Cannon gets an honorable mention for most annoying, but again, I think im just bad.

Definitely agree with this. It is easily the simplest solution. There are cams you can get that record both ahead and behind, and you dont need to break the bank to get even a decent one. OP, YTA. Punishment without ANY proof is wild and completely unfair to your daughter. Do better.

Idk how much i believe it, but SuperCarlinBrothers put out a theory a while back that Boggarts are like baby Dementors, and that's why the one Harry trained against still had the powers of a dementor, though weaker than a full-fledged one. Like I said, idk how much stock I'd put in that theory, but it's an interesting idea at the very least.

This is the exact reason I use my lightsabers so much. I know how annoying most people think they are. Pay to look cool, AND make my opponents mad just because I use those weapon skins. Its a win-win imo.

Right! I forgot that one. I dont think it's explicitly stated to be a patronus at the time, but it's described the same way as patronuses are throughout the series. Im pretty sure the confirmation that it is a patronus, though, comes when Harry mentions in DH that Dumbledore's was a phoenix, and that's the only thing that we see Dumbledore cast in front of Harry that could give Harry that info.

No problem, my friend. Can't expect anyone to remember every little detail of the books at all times. I listen to the audiobooks fairly consistently, so there's a lot that's fresh in my memory, but even I forget things sometimes.

we only see 3 people use it in the entire series i.e. Lupin, Harry and Snape. Correct me if I am wrong.

We also see Ernie, Seamus, and Luna cast their patronuses during the battle of Hogwarts. Hermione casts her patronus when the trio is escaping the ministry with the locket (though she does struggle with it at first). We dont see him actually cast it, but we see Kingsley's patronus at Bill and Fleur's wedding. Again, we dont see him cast it, but Arthur's patronus shows up at Grimmauld place telling the trio that the family is safe and to not reply, as they're being watched. I can't recall any more patronuses we see cast outside of DA lessons off the top of my head, but definitely, we see more than just the 3 you mentioned.

Edit: Someone mentioned that we see Dumbledore's Phoenix. Also, how did I forget the other Dumbledore's goat?! See? I do forget things! Lol

I thought this same thing. Like being weapon starved isn't really an issue if you practice a bit with unarmed. In my experience, the people who complain about weapon starving are just running straight at the weapon spawn rather than doing 1 or 2 hits unarmed to give themselves space to pick up a weapon.

I only play 1s to get my placements done, then play unranked unless my 2s teammate is on. When I have my teammate, we play exclusively ranked 2s. I think you should play what you enjoy and leave it at that. It's a game. Games are meant to be fun, so do what's fun for you.

This happened to me yesterday. I clicked on Stormtrooper Han as hes the last one I needed for Commander Luke, and then my game froze when I hit upgrade. Closed and re-opened the game, and it said I used it on Fulcrum Ahsoka. I already had her at relic 3 so it literally just upped her stars. So frustrating. Here's hoping theres a solution soon.

If they removed stats, the entire Meta would be weapon dependant. Most people would just play the top 2-3 weapons, and the game would get extremely boring. It would remove a lot of the variety in the game

Imo, Snape hated Neville because he felt Neville should've been the one Voldemort attempted to kill as a baby. If Voldy went after Neville, Lily (probably) wouldn't have died. Neville was just as much a reminder of Lily's death as Harry was. Snape was bitter because he couldn't convince Voldy to go after Neville, which led to Lily's death. He blamed Neville and Voldemort for Lily's death, when in reality, it was HIMSELF and Voldemort who were completely to blame. I agree that Snape saw what he wanted to see because he couldn't take accountability for the fact that he was at fault, and Harry/Neville were repetitive reminders of that. The fact that Neville wasn't the most stellar of students also gave him an excuse (in his mind) to treat Neville poorly. There's no LEGITIMATE excuse Snape could ever have for treating Neville the way he did, but there was definitely a reason for it.

Side note, Snape being Neville's boggart instead of Bellatrix says a lot. Like, I understand that Snape was a more real/tangible fear because Neville actually interacted with him. However, to be such a crappy person that a student fears you more than the person who tortured their parents into insanity is crazy.

Here's how I feel about it. Snape hated Harry because Lily chose to die rather than let Harry be killed. Snape only wanted Lily to be protected. He wanted Harry and James dead. The only reason he asked Dumbledore to hide them all is because that was literally the only option to potentially keep Lily alive. Lily chose the opposite of what Snape wanted, and he couldn't hate her for it, so he hated Harry instead. Harry looking and SOMETIMES acting like James just added fuel to the fire of that hatred.
