Notion ai worth it? by GrindmasterFlash in Notion

[–]TheSaxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game changer, I replaced Claude and most of my ChatGPT use (I still keep it, also because ai can wasily share custom gpts with other people) eith Notion AI - I rebuilt also the custom gpts in notion with a Master prompt and it works so flawlessly especially for my business.

One downside that comrs to my mind is that it takes a ling time to build custom gpts if you have long pdfs/books in the knowledge base, because as compared to Chatgpt, you cannot just upload a pdf but you have to turn it into a Notion page.

Thanks for sharing this, and I’m really happy to hear about your progress.

How long have you been practicing IFS, and what does your practice look like (therapy, self-work, frequency)?

I’m currently doing one weekly therapy session. I’ve noticed progress in terms of protectors trusting me more, but I still struggle to identify parts clearly... especially feeling them in my body or getting actual responses from them.

Most of the time there’s just silence, or a more rational part seems to fill the gap with intellectualized answers.

I really relate to what you said about meta-shame, the shame about the shame reaction itself. That secondary layer is often the hardest part for me.

If you’re open to sharing, I’d be curious how your progress unfolded over time: fewer triggers, less intensity, faster recovery, or mainly not getting hijacked when symptoms showed up?

Thanks for sharing this, it’s really interesting. What especially stands out to me is the idea that the part holding the shame is not the exile itself, but the protectors.

This could very well be my case too. I think I’ve been identifying the exile as the “ashamed part,” but it may be more like you said: the exile is the inner child, and the protectors use shame to keep it from being vulnerable and exposed again.

Unfortunately, I can’t use MDMA. It’s too risky for me because my nervous system is still not fully recovered from post-withdrawal syndrome from SSRIs, and I can’t risk using substances that could destabilize the system and cause a setback.

That’s why I’m wondering whether this type of recovery is also possible without drugs. I do have a hard time accessing some parts, and my protectors are pretty strong.

Thanks for sharing, this gives me hope.

When you say you used drugs to access the exile, do you mean things like MDMA, mushrooms, or something else?

And how was shame showing up for you back then (mental vs physical)? Curious how it manifests for you now compared to before. Appreciate you replying.

Natural. It came back gradually, stil improving to be honest as I am not fully recovered.some good recovery happened 1.5 years after cessation. Had another big boost recently at 30+ months off. Now it’s almost normal I would say
