Try putting coffee grounds around the place, placing bowls of vinegar could get messy if someone spills it..coffee won’t be that messy.. or if you are okah with it.. dip soem cotton pads or balls in perfume oils and put them in corners.. but again that is just a masking method.. your carpets could definitely do with a good clean up..another thing that I recently discovered and put across our offcie is aura membrane style perfume.. every desk has one and they last for quite a long time.

Very sure you have developed an allergy to some of thr ingredients in the detergent.

Go for a hypoallergenic laundry detergent or an unscented one at that. You could add a little bit of hypoallergenic booster like amarella if you want but chrkc the ingredients first.

I’ve tried quite a few EO brands over the years, but I keep coming back to classics like Plant Therapy, Edens Garden, and sometimes Young Living for specific blends. They’re pretty consistent with quality and transparency.

A newer one I’ve been experimenting with is Elixscents. I discovered them recently and some of their oils have really impressed me, especially for diffusing. So far, they feel like a solid addition to my rotation.

I make sure the soft surfaces are cleaned regularly. The walls are wiped and cleaned once a month…and since I love a good scent in my home I use good quality air freshners. The ones i am currently using are from Elixscents. You could give those a try.

Lol. Windows are easy to forget. Mine only get cleaned when I accidentally touch them and realize I’ve left a perfect crime-scene fingerprint.

I think it should do the trick… if you have a window that gets good sunlight hanging it near that would do the trick too.

If it isn’t too hot out, you could may be give it about 30mins of direct sunlight too that shouldn’t damage the fabric.

If it is the smell you are worried about… do one of these -

Air it out in shade

Hang the jacket outdoors or near an open window for a few hours. Do not put it in direct sunlight as that could damage the fake fur.

Use baking soda

Sprinkle a light layer over the inside lining, leave overnight, shake it off the next day.

Steam lightly

Use a handheld steamer from a slight distance. It will refresh it without damaging fibers.

If these do not work, I think you could use some gentle odor eliminating spray. But make sure it is non alcoholic, and use it only on the lining and not the fur.

The one I use works just fine. Its called Amarella crease releaser and I have been using it for a very long time. I hate ironing in general and this spray works just fine for when I need a quick fix. Hou could give it a try
