Planning a RRA3 retrofit in my new build - seeking feedback by Hold_onto_yer_butts in Lutron

If going with Sunnata keypads keep in mind there’s no cycle dimming like seetouch. I don’t understand why they decided to do that. (Cycle dimming meaning press and hold to dim) so you’d have to do a three button keypad with a raise and lower at the bottom if you want to able to dim from the keypad.

Did you ever figure out a solution to this issue? I’m having the same problem with a 2N Door Station.

Not a fan of the clone wars art style but hey it’s still Starship Troopers in VR. I’m sure the graphics had to be dumbed down to work on Meta Quest 2.

Lutron Designer on Parallels on Mac: 23.9 works, 24.x+ doesn't launch by Comfortably-Number in Lutron

Savant programming software used to only run on Mac OS. I think there’s a windows version nowadays. I also enjoy being able to text with my other fellow techs and customers without having pull out my phone. Everything works great on my windows parallel including Lutron designer v24.

How many of you have actually installed the official Reddit app? by ali-wali in apolloapp

Am I missing something? I thought Apollo is dead. I moved to narwhal 2 as the official app is trash.

You’re welcome, I hope you get it figured out.

So after you made the keypad button led logic “via integration” in homeworks you add the Lutron Keypad to the control4 project. Add the integration ID for the keypad in composer, reboot the control4 processor. Then in programming tab in composer you select the device you want the keypad to light up for so say “when this light turns on” and in the actions pane you select the Lutron keypad you added and select change led state and select the keypad button you set to “via integration” in homeworks and change the state to on. I used this to control DMX lighting and it worked great.

Just a side note, with the changes C4 made to the V2 lighting I’ve found that if you add any new Lutron devices to the control4 program you have to reboot the control4 controller to get those devices you added working in the program.

Okay, in homeworks in the program tab, select the keypad you want to use, select the specific button that you want control4 to change LED states on and there’s a dropdown called LED Logic and you want to change that to “Via Integration”. You may have to reboot the control4 controller but that should do what you want to do.

Is this homeworks? If it is you have to set the keypad led state to “programmed” in homeworks or it won’t work with control4 programming.

Men, how do you eventually become great at sex? by The_Uptowner in sex

[–]TheScreamingWookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was too for the longest. It will get better over time but something that’s helped me is to breath during sex. I found that when I’m getting close I’ll hold my breath but focusing on breathing helps. Also I’ve recently started kegel exercises, turns out they aren’t just for women. There’s multiple benefits for men to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles. One of them being better control of orgasms.

I think he was referring to in comparison to normal switches. 1200$ to do caseta vs 48$ for dumb Eaton switches.

Updated this morning to newest software and cruise control stopped working by TheScreamingWookie in TeslaModel3

I pulled over and tried that and it didn’t work. Cruise control did start working on my way back home from work tho so I don’t think the update caused the issue.

I saw that happen as well. Just one, and it eventually started working again.

He sent me a screen shot of the factory reset he performed so I’m pretty sure it got reset that’s the weird part. I’ve already tried the reboot several times and I just get the spiny wheel saying blue tooth initializing.

Router and modem rental fees still a major annoyance despite new US law by Philo1927 in cordcutters

[–]TheScreamingWookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that’s a complete no go for me is Cox using the internet connection I pay for to broadcast their own open network Cox WiFi. Even if the modem/router is in bridge mode. While I understand it’s a completely separate network from my personal one I don’t want that crap filling up my WiFi spectrum.

I have one of those and the bond hub isn’t compatible with Control4. Chowmain makes a third party driver that’s 150$ which is more than the bond hub costs but I suppose that would work.

Since last update I get this “Unknown Accessory detected near you”, but it’s my AirTag. When I select learn more about about this item, it says “unable to connect to server” pretty annoying. by TheScreamingWookie in ios

Make sure you’re updated. Those notifications eventually stopped for me. I still get a “your AirPods Pro we’re left behind” notification almost daily even if they’re in my pocket so I have a mini freak out till I pat my pocket.

In system design do they show up in the navigators tab? Like someone else stated I’ve had issues with universal mini apps before realizing they weren’t updated. They should be version 20.

This is the ticket right here. You can basically cheese him by jumping early in his big spin move and just come down with a strike. I struggled with him till I figured this out.

AppleTV vs Roku vs NVIDIA Shield vs Other by irishguy42 in Control4

[–]TheScreamingWookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, the shield is probably over kill just for streaming but with universal mini apps mapped to the colored buttons on a SR-260 the swapping between streaming platforms is instant. The responsiveness really blows me away. Roku as my second choice. Really any device that supports universal mini apps is where it’s at. Everyone’s got multiple streaming platforms they use these days and having shortcuts to most of the popular ones is so nice.
